The hostel itself is remodeled from a historical building dating back to the 1940-1950's and there couldn't be a better way to start your Taiwanese journey but through the city's wealth of history. Newly remodeled, this historical building is now ready to experience and create new stories with you. Transportation : We are located near Taipei's most convenient region, by the Taipei main station, and directly across from Taipei Modern Art Museum. We are also right next to a shopping strip composed with locally-owned stores "Chifeng street". We are a 5 minute walk from a bus transit station, shopping mall with movie theatre and very close to a fresh produce store within Qsquare (Taipei bus terminal). A quick 10 minute walk heading west, you'll pass Taipei's only original historical North gate and along the way you may also stop by the 100 year old postal office to mail a post card home. Walking 15 minute north, there is delicious famous food at the Ningxia night market. Or hop on the metro and you are only 5 minutes away from the lively Ximending area where the variety of selections will leave all our travelers with full stomachs and no excuses for boredom.
