As we drove up the steep hill to access this place we were greeted by a sweet dog named Luna, and kittens sleeping in flower pots and flowers in full bloom. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the grounds are gorgeous. The staff was terrific... all were very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern and beds are...

My family spent the afternoon here in mid April. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view of the Bay. The waiter was attentive and although the pool bar was not open, served the drinks poolside in a timely manner. A good selection too as kids and adults were happy. The pool had a small, shallow area perfect for our...

This place is off the beaten path and has an amazing ocean view. The first room we were in had a leaky air conditioner, so we were moved to a different one that was perfect. Our balcony had the same lovely ocean view and we could hear the howler monkeys in the jungle. Husband walked/hiked down to the ocean and...

My husband and I where only staying here for one night on our way to Mal Pais and due to a late flight did not arrive until the 8:30 ferry from Puntarenas got in. The staff were patiently awaiting our arrival and showed us to our rooms with a smile. The rooms where average in size, light, cool and airy....

If only I could bottle the morning we were at Las Villas Islas...sipping coffee and watching the howler monkeys. This is a beautiful place that I'd highly recommend. Views are amazing! Food was good and we loved the pool!

Beautiful grounds and view, clean and spacious room (ours had a large balcony), best foreign bathroom I've ever encountered. Howler monkeys, gorgeous birds, and iguanas are right outside your door. Restaurant is serviceable (basic breakfast, delicious iced tea, and a kind staff member made a special herbal tea when my son and I got food poisoning) but we preferred the...

The hotel is locate far from Play Organos beach ( 10 minute drive ), but has a nice pool looking at the beach and the nearby Tortuga Islands. Rooms are ok, with a safe inside and overlooking the beach and the forest. The gardens are not completely neat, at least during the end of the dry season when I was...

Stayed here for 2 nights after the ferry ride from Puntaranes to Paquera. This is the perfect place to totally relax, you can sit by the pool and look at the view... forever. At night the howler monkeys are going nuts in the trees...it was fascinating. Nice little restaurant on site, very helpful staff. Room was fine, and views from...

There are easier ways to get there-not us, we took the mountain route, and arrived at this incredible resort on a mountain top. Everything was perfect. Anje the manager-the most beautiful & hard working person i've seen welcomed, and took great care of us from start to finish. The hotel has its own boat (really nice) to give the snorkel...
