I was travelling solo in India. Yes, a female on her own, doing her thing and loving every minute of it! I had made my way to the Western Ghats and the UNESCO listed 'Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve'. I had come on a search to retrace my family's history in the area and to see for the first time, with my...

Came across this little gem when travelling with friends. Fantastic jungle location, great for watching wildlife. An elephant came right next to the campus the first night we were there and saw bison and sloth bear on a drive the next day. Rooms were simple but really clean, staff so friendly, nothing too much trouble and food great.

The location is beautiful. The rooms are good. The serivice staff is friendly. The best part were their pet dogs..they are gorgeous and super friendly. The watch tower is a decent place to spot wild life if you are lucky On the flip side...food is pricey and its surprising that breakfast is not complimentary.

Found this beautiful place by chance, so glad we did! Wild Haven is right in the jungle and we were lucky enough to see elephants, bison and a sloth bear at the waterhole next to the resort. It is a very peaceful place with stunning views of the Nilgiri Mountains too. The food was delicious and plentiful and the staff...

Just cannot begin to describe the horrors of our trip (13-15 Aug) Cons: 1) Pathetic food - I just can't start and end to describe how unpalatable the food was. To be honest, it made me cringe and cry whenever it was eating time 2) Slowest ever service in the history of hospitality, boiled eggs would take 25 mins to...

You will start enjoying the resort right from Bandipur Entrance if you are coming from Mysore as you will spot lot of animals on your way. Remember not to stop anywhere at any cost. Coming to the resort, neat and clean rooms, food is good provided you specify your food preference as they cook for every guest at the resort....
