We stayed in this property for one month for the third time in three years , as usual the check in and out is very efficient and extremely friendly baggage is dealt with promptly and parking is readily available. Our room (7403) was very spacious but staring to show signs of wear and tear as are some of the public areas.the bathroom reflected the room with pump action toiletries. Housekeeping kept the room very clean from the moment we arrived until we left .sheets and towels are bright white and of medium quality. The bed was huge (emperor bed) and very comfortable.There is a complementary breakfast which is adequate. Externally there are several pools a fitness Center and a n excellent ala carte restaurant which is very competitively priced . There is also very convenient access to a superb beach with sun beds ( not for free but very cheap - The local council don’t allow any hotel to put beds on the beach )and a two minute walk to the village with a wealth of restaurants ,bars and shops.This property is only 4 star which we would normally not book but its location is easily the best of any hotel in Kamala which is why we choose it over better presented properties. Additionally the staff are fantastic . A heads up this is an adults only hotel but they do have a family hotel next door called Sunwing which is just as good.

We booked this resort for 5 nights as part of a longer trip to Thailand and Vietnam. We were initially put in a room that had a very poor view over the entrance and had a shower over the bath and a shower curtain, which I was not happy about. We went back to reception and Tanya was brilliant- showed us 2 other rooms and we ended up with a very large suite with a pool view, kitchen and living area and 2 bathrooms- thank you Tanya- your help was very much appreciated. The hotel is very large and has a mini mart, workout studio and lots of pool areas. Despite being nearly at capacity it didn't feel crowded and we never had an issue finding a sun lounger. Adults Only vibe is nice- the family hotel is directly next door. The location is excellent- a short walk to the main part of Kamala Beach with loads of restaurants and bars to chose from and the market close by. Breakfast at the hotel was very good- lots of variety. The only comment I would make is that the staff at breakfast seemed to be in a rush to tidy up and they started moving the signage and some of the food 20 minutes before the end of service which meant you couldn't tell what kind of milk/ bread/ oils etc were available- could be bad for people with allergies and makes you feel a bit of a nuisance if you go for a later breakfast. Overall I would recommend this hotel- it's decent value for money, the staff are great, the pools are lovely and the location is great.

The staff are a credit to this hotel, my wife and I shared 50 years together during this trip and the staff made our arrival a special occasion.Thank you. During our stay ,we did try eating out , but the hotel food was so good and at reasonable prices , that we decided to eat in most of the time. The rooms look to have been refurbished and are of good quality, and the gardens are beautiful and kept clean. The beach in front of the Hotel is constantly monitored by the staff and cleaned on a daily basis. The hotels location allows an easy stroll into the village in the evenings. A special mention to Kevin, Way ,Kate, Tawan and all the staff in the Al a carte restaurant and pool bar who made our stay so special. we have been coming to Thailand for the last 26 years, usually visiting different islands and hotels...but our stay was so enjoyable ,we have already booked to return in November, I cant recommend the hotel enough. The hotel may only be 4 star, but the staff are definitely 5 star. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 9 nights. For the price we paid we loved the hotel. The room was great, with a huge bed. Good AC. There are 4 pools and we never had an issue getting sunbeds. The staff are quite good at removing towels if people try to reserve beds before 10 am so it makes it fair for everyone. The breakfast buffet couldn’t be faulted. We mainly went out for lunch and dinner though, only as it’s nice to go out along the beach. The staff were all really friendly and the hotel grounds and room are all kept really clean. Would definitely come back here

The positive experiences of the hotel are the friendly people who serve breakfast in the restaurant, the beautiful swimming pools and the beautiful adjacent beach. There are many sunbeds with sunbeds placed at the swimming pools and in various places in the garden. There are also several seating areas at the bar on the beach, everything is neat and tidy. The breakfast buffet offers sufficient choice of hot and cold dishes. Unfortunately, there are a number of things that make it surprising that this hotel has 4 stars. We had a room called deluxe terrace. The size of the room is pleasant and sufficient. The chairs on the terrace are not really comfortable due to the hard backrests without cushions. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower. The general condition of the room is very dated. The bed had seen its best days and was a kind of sagging box spring with a very thin topper and protector on top. These were too small for the bed, as was the thin duvet, which stopped 5 centimeters from the edge of the mattress on each side. Because the sheets were just too short, you pulled everything loose when you lay down on them. The room was neatly cleaned every day. The pool towels were of different sizes, some were noticeably longer than others. Exchanging the towels did not always go smoothly, they were repeatedly not ready at the start or end of the day. The bathroom towels were old and worn, with many frayed edges. At the pool it states that towels are removed when a reservation is made. This is not done so that laying down the towel early and then showing up at the end of the morning was a common occurrence. We had bed and breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants in the area and plenty of places to buy drinks, etc., including a 7Eleven nearby. The covered seats at the bar are nice when it rains, but there is not much room. It is also irritating that you can sit dry, but in the middle of the smoke of everyone lighting cigarettes and that is a surprising number of guests.

I was at this hotel 10 years ago, decided to do it again and didn't regret it. The hotel keeps a brand of hospitality. Breakfasts are gorgeous, everything you can desire, lived on the ground floor, the room overlooked the pool, you go out through the gate and swim. There was a problem with the air conditioning, couldn't lock the blade, but after 15 minutes, the exit was found, it was lifted higher and it locked. Beach towels are issued from 9:00 a.m., if you leave something on the sunbed and leave, up to 10-00 hotel clerks can remove your belongings, keep that in mind. Thank you hotel, I want to come back again!!!

Well worth the package we arrived with via I know the pilot page. Hotel was MUCH bigger than we anticipated 3 or 4 separate pools, 2 breakfast spots, great views from the back beachside of the hotel. Gardens were well kept, there were always staff around, most of the front house staff speak English well. Their memory impressed us remembering room numbers and making you feel like you were worth remembering
I wasn’t sure about the adults only Aspect as we’ve never stayed similar and we were well impressed. I don’t think we would want to holiday any other way now haha
Food was plentiful at breakfast so many staff everyday there Drinks were well priced and tasty bar staff minimal which made service a tad slow but worth it. Room was nice we were on the beachside so it was lovely you could even hear the waves from The beach So many sun lounges you wouldn’t need to worry about Missing out on one Dinner we did once it was a simple buffet of only 3 hot options of snack foods and desert. If you like desert it’s worth the 350baht otherwise not amazing 3? Nights a week is local food stalls down the driveway. Yummy! Go early tho Both sides on the beach side had food stalls and restaurants to choose from, no shortage of food options around nearby

Just returned from 3 great weeks at Sunprime Kamala Beach we are seasoned Thailand visitors and this Hotel definitely rates as one of the best. on arrival we were immediately upgraded to a grand deluxe room from a standard room which was a great start! We found the room spacious and clean with a nice comfortable bed and slept well after a long journey from UK .as we had booked including breakfast we went down first morning to get breakfast and were pleased to find a big choice of both English and European choices available as well as Thai choices as well as tea and coffee and fruit juices and the bonus of fresh coffee making machines which had nice cappuccino as an option.the staff were all of the standard Thai cheery nature that we love! We didn't have a problem finding a sun bed at any of the four pools and the hotel also has a no reservation of sunbeds before 10am policy and although this didn't always work due to the selfish nature of some guests it was a nice touch that they did try to enforce this! The hotel backs on to a nice beach area with small bars and restaurants within easy reach and the town itself is a short walk with more bars restaurant's and shops .we ate at the Blue Manao in the town mostly due to it serving in our opinion the best food in town you will definitely need to go early as it fills up quick! We also ate at Lillos,pavilion sea food ,the pond restaurant which were all nice ,and also the smile bar which we did not rate as we found it overpriced on food and drink and the food was not great either of course this is subjective and some may like it! There are many more choices for food and drink here to try. All in all a most enjoyable experience which we have no hesitation in recommending to others

We were for the 2nd year in a row at the hotel for 3 weeks. We will definitely return. I will again this year give the hotel my best recommendations. Breakfast is good - and it is possible to choose many different types of coffee, so it is perfect. The staff are nice and service-minded, they do everything for the guests with a smile. There is a very nice atmosphere throughout the hotel. We ate lunch and dinner several times in the restaurant by the sea - the prices were not much higher than outside the hotel and the service was absolutely fantastic. The food was super good. It was a positive surprise - we have been at least 20 hotels in Thailand and this is the first time we have experienced such a good restaurant in the hotel. The location is fine - there are really many people on the beach, but there is a calm atmosphere. We didn't use pools - we rented sun loungers on the beach every day. The New Year's dinner was good, there were really many delicious dishes to choose from. The entertainment was ok - but every time there is live performing at the hotel it is all too loud - we left the New Year's Eve after the meal - it wasn't nice to sit in so much noise from the entertainment, we couldn't talk together. That's the only negative I can write about the hotel - it's our favorite hotel in Thailand.
