If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind luxury experience, then you've come to the right place. We are a true oceanfront luxury resort right in the middle of Kamala and Patong Beaches (5-mins drive away). Both Kamala and Patong Beaches are not within short walking distance. Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa has one of Phuket's last remaining unspoiled private beaches (over 600 metres long) and several highly unique features. We have a 4,000 square metre free-form Lagoon Swimming Pool, one of the largest in South East Asia, 14 acres of orchid and tropical gardens, a hillside Cable Car, a world class Spa, unique Romantic Dining experiences, a pier, and Phuket's first privately funded coral conservation centre. This secluded beach and tropical oasis awaits you. Please be noticed that Nakalay Beach's appearance, atmosphere, and accessibility changes significantly during low and high tide. During low tide, prehistoric coral remains become visible making the beach not conducive for swimming. Guests who purchase any product from Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa or from any of its affiliated businesses acknowledges this fact before making the purchase. Any complaints or request for refund regarding this issue will not be subsequently entertained.

Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa is often praised for its tranquil location, nestled in a secluded area with the convenience of shuttle services. The hotel's atmosphere, blending elegance with traditional charm amidst tropical gardens and a private beach, is a highlight for guests seeking serenity.
While the amenities, including the expansive pool and gardens, are well-regarded, some guests feel the rooms could benefit from an update and the service can be hit or miss. The overall cleanliness is appreciated, though the hotel's pricing is sometimes seen as steep, impacting the value perceived by visitors.

What a perfect venue to explore the area around Patong. We stayed in beach cottage 101 and it was absolutely perfect. You could walk onto the beach in one minute and listen to the waves ,birds etc which was very relaxing.Everything in the cottage was perfect for a enjoyable stay . It was very spacious with a huge bathroom, the air conditioning kept the room very cool which was ideal after a sun bathing session on the beach. The gardens and pool areas were absolutely beautiful and spacious and relaxing,so much effort must go into keeping it all looking excellent. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choices from salads, fruits, full English, Thai curry and Indian curry to name a few and I was in heaven as all were delicious. Compliments to the chefs They definitely cater for families with lots for children to do and explore. The animal petting area was brilliant and such a hit with piglets, rabbits, large tortoise, parrots and doves etc that you can mingle with and are encouraged to hold, stroke and feed . The beach and all areas are immaculate and very clean and very environmentally aware and friendly. Water is available free from dispensers that you can refill bottles from which was Excellent . They offered a shuttle bus to Patong free although a taxi was only 400 Baht . We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will recommend to family and friends. Compliments to all the friendly, excellent staff and management to make this special.

This wonderful resort enabled a fantastic start to our holiday in Thailand and I would recommend it 100%. We were welcomed warmly with a much needed ice-cold, fruity drink at a late evening check in and were taken to our rooms which were large, comfortable and calming. When we woke up in daylight the next day, we were totally amazed. The resort is a tropical paradise with an incredible vast blue lagoon pool with beautiful tropical gardens and swaying palm trees in every direction. The food was delicious at both Crocodile bar and the Marisa restaurant. The biggest credit to this resort are the staff who tended the gardens, rooms, pool, bars, restaurants and reception. Every day we were greeted with warm smiles and greetings and incredible warmth and politeness. We British can learn a lot from the Thai people! The sea was very clear and the waves lapping up were very relaxing. However, there's a lot of coral and rocks so not the best for swimming. The pool makes up for it though. It is vast and surrounded by tropical foliage. You will see cute water monitors, beautifully coloured butterflies and pretty petals floating on the water. It is a hideaway that I have never experienced. There is a hut by the pool where you can rent stuff for water sports. We rented an 'underwater sea scooter' for zooming around the pool and had fantastic fun with it. Recommended! Last but not least. I can't believe that we secured rooms at this resort for such reasonable prices. My tropical garden room was secured for about 60 pounds per night, while our more costly swim up room was secured for about 90 pounds per night. Keep in mind that this was low season (June) and that I booked the room about 6 weeks in advance. Going to Thailand in low season and booking rooms in advance saves oodles of money. To all the staff...thank you for making our dreams come true and thank you for your incredible kindness and warmth, We will return next June. We loved your resort and miss it very much.

The hotel is a drop of paradise in Thailand. From greeting at reception with Tiffy, who remembers you everytime you see her, to reception and the lovely staff in the restaurant the whole hotel is a delight. The location means you are situated between Patong and Kamala so be prepared to pay for taxis to get o local places to go eat but the hotel can easily arrange and we paid no more than 400THB to get to either Patong or Kamala. They have a helpful tour guide situated in the hotel who can help book day trips etc which was a real help. We stayed in one of the garden bungalows and they are very spacious and the shower room is massive. The daily room service comes at all times so we never felt rushed to leave the room plus everything was refreshed on return. If you asked me to definitely give one improvement it would be the number of sun loungers but feel this is consistent with most places we’ve stayed. Overall can highly recommend Thavorn Beach Hotel Resort

Hotel with little organization, it took me almost 10 days to book via email, they responded only once a day. We chose the Seaview Hillside room, not exactly cheap with very dated Thai furniture and a constant smell of sewage (the first few days I was nauseous and couldn't sleep). The room was made up in the late afternoon (we had dead bugs in the bathroom all week). The village is not very well looked after, you can easily find beer bottles on the beach, glasses/towels abandoned by the pool. Throughout the week there were maintenance works that disturbed not only the peace but also the view. Breakfast for all tastes included. Twice a day there is low tide, making it difficult to swim (not suitable for children) because it is all rocky, even though there is a private beach. Don't choose half board for dogs, they have few dishes (very good) and the kitchen service is very slow. Location not the best because it is far from all services. There is a shuttle that takes you to Kamala and Patong Beach with few and inconvenient times (e.g. Patong Beach leaves at 7pm and returns at 9pm. We returned with a taxi because it took us an hour to get to Patong!). In conclusion I would not go back and I do not recommend it to couples or families. On the last day I called reception an hour before (as indicated by them) to have my luggage brought down via tuk tuk service, too bad no one ever showed up and we had to go down with our luggage via the funicular.

Check in was smooth but not very welcoming as service desk employees seemed to be a bit stressed out. Had an ocean standard villa but with no sea view. The villa was spacious and clean with a good selection of amenities (robe, slippers etc). The shower is located in a separate room without aircon open to the outside temperatures. There were plenty of sockets for connecting phone etc. Only slight downside was the aircon which wasn’t very efficient in cooling the room.
The pool area is fantastic, and some villa rooms have direct access to pool from their terraces. The pool is also children friendly with lots of pool areas to discover and swim around. The sun loungers tended to be mostly reserved from early morning. The beach is private and secluded with a few sun loungers. At low tide the rocks on the beach are bare and it’s difficult to swim, ie. swimming from beach only possible on high tide and even then, would watch out for the rocky bottom. The villas with beach and sea views seemed nice and peaceful. Breakfast had a wide selection of different foods catering for all tastes. It can be a bit crowded at times. Coffee machines were great but for some reason they turned the machines off exactly at 10:30am after which coffee was not available. They could leave the machines on for a few more minutes in the morning. The hotel had a gym which didn’t have a lot of equipment but nevertheless some weights and basic gear (plus ping-pong table). Could add new equipment to gym to make it more versatile. The villas on the hill have great views but you’ll have to take the train down/up to villas.
Overall, a great hotel especially as its secluded, peaceful and with a private beach without the constant noise of traffic from the road which impairs many other hotels in the area. Great for relaxing and winding down. The gardens around the hotel are also very delightful and well kept – they add to a relaxed and cozy atmosphere for the resort. Very child friendly as well with great pools for kids, a bakery & ice cream shop and e.g. a petting zoo with small animals open twice a day. Service was mostly attentive and warm. Can recommend for its great pool, surroundings, and overall peace of mind atmosphere!

Great hotel Clean hotel, great swimming pool, very good restaurant (pasta, burger, pizza, Thai dish etc…) extraordinary breakfast, an incredible choice the impeccably clean tropical garden room with hair dryer, ironing board, storage for clothes plus a small bag of sweets offered, a small bag is available for 800 bath and a small handmade bamboo flower for 100 bath The tropical garden is splendid with very bright vegetation

The hotel was set in a beautiful location with a private beach (not very sandy) tropical gardens with a large lagoon swimming pool (with a pool bar). Works were being conducted, but did not spoil our time there. The pier was closed, which made it impossible to snorkel during low tide.
The rooms were outdated but clean and spacious, the bed was very big and a real treat. The air condition was a welcome relief from the heat.
The Old Siam restaurant was closed, which meant that you had the Crocodile Bar or the Marisa Restaurant to choose from, both of which were VERY EXPENSIVE, in particular for wine, drinks etc. It often worked out cheaper to get a taxi (and back) to another town and go to a restaurant there, or even be adventurous and try the street food. Probably lacking was a bar area for a few night time drinks to finish the evening.
We stayed for two weeks and the menu became a little tiring. The Crocodile Bar service was very good, Jan in particular was a star. The service in the Marisa restaurant was extremely slow, particularly at peak times ie 6-8pm, in fact one night we nearly walked out. Its fine to wait for food, but in heat you need to have drinks, and waiting 20 mins before a waiter comes is unacceptable. We tried to time it so that Kitty would be waiting on, as she always gave great service and was always very helpful and attentive, and we took an immediate liking to her friendly manner. In fact on her day off it was Thai New Year and she came to find us in her time off and gave us some flower bracelets which we understood to be a symbol of respect and part of the celebration for the festivities which was such a kind gesture. Most of the staff were very helpful, although the man in charge of the Marisa restaurant at night often came across as rude and aggressive. On the whole the staff tried their best but I think they were short staffed and a little stressed.
One night we had a meal and went to bed and received a call late to our room when we were sleeping to say that we had not signed for the meal, which you pay for before you leave the hotel, but we had in fact done so, obviously we were not happy to be woken about that. In fact this happened twice at which point I spoke to Joy about our frustration about being woken for something that could have been rectified the next morning.
Joy was very helpful in advising us on taxis, places of interest, and general information.
We did complain about the shower not draining properly but nobody ever came to sort it out, and we couldn’t be bothered to ask again.
On departure we handed in our key and a member of staff was sent to the room to confirm that we did not owe anything from the fridge ie drinks etc. We were then asked if we had kept the fresh flowers that were placed on the bed two weeks ago, this seemed a very odd thing to ask, was he going to charge us for dead flowers??? I confirmed that I removed them and placed them on the cupboard and they were removed by the cleaner the next day.
But on the whole the experience was good but would have been better had it not been for the points mentioned above.

Highly recommended accommodation for those who want to relax and escape the rat race. We got a pool room which was fantastic! The staff are all extremely friendly and warm. I would avoid the internal taxi service that isn't attached to the resort but there for convenience. They're a rip off and charge extortionate prices! Download the Bolt App, that saved us so much money. This is also the same for the activities service, I decided to google the attractions and book direct which saved me 50% of what they were charging. The little animals that you can interact with are an added bonus, however parents please watch your kids and don't let them run feral scaring the baby animals, they become very distressed. The private beach is a bonus and the pool is fantastic. However there are no toilets around the pool area, so you will work out pretty quickly where everyone is doing their business. All in all, I would come back to this place as it was very relaxing and beautiful! The gardens are out of this world 🌎 😍

This has to be one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The gardens are lush tropical paradises that seem to go on forever. Incorporating a huge lagoon of clear blue water that encircles the entire garden. It is peaceful and small toys and floaters are available for the children. We were with a five yr old and a three yr old and they had no problems without slides and fountains. The breakfast was amazing, well organised, plenty of stations, no queues and plenty of choice. Location not great. On the outskirts of town, no local shops or restaurants. You need to take a taxi everywhere. Hotel restaurant is good but expensive. A half litre bottle of water is £5. Go figure. Shuttle bus is virtually non existent. All public rooms, dining room reception are open sides so no A/C. This makes mealtime very hot and sweaty. Not comfortable at all. Shame. Hotel bed rooms have A/C and have wifi although signal is poor. Maid service could be better. Our rooms were never cleaned before 3 p.m. Just as you are getting back from the pool/ beach and want to shower / rest they arrive to clean the room. Beach is not great. Very pebbly. Looks man made. No boat trips from our beach. Had to buy an expensive excursion. Staff are lovely. Thai people are so kind. Would have liked to be more positive but A/C wi fi and location are important to me. However really pleased I experienced this beautiful hotel.

We stayed in Thavorn beach village resort for two nights, experiencing two different room categories, and it was truly worth every penny. The check-in procedure was a breeze, thanks to the assistance of Mr. You, Mr. Oh, and Ms. Donut, who ensured a seamless and efficient process. Mr. Mike was really helpful too.
The resort is located in the Kamala beach area with a private beach and lot of activities at affordable rates. The location is calm and a little far away from the crowd, but the property has great shuttle bus service to and from the Patong area and Kamala area.
Our kids were delighted with the amazing pool facilities and thoroughly enjoyed the mini zoo experience provided by the hotel. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the housekeeping service was top-notch, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences, we would have appreciated a bit more variety in the food menu. Nevertheless, the excellent staff, combined with the overall experience, made our stay truly memorable.

Hello I suggest the room with pool access because in the upper floor you have to go down stairs and then you must go to the spot where all sunbeds are to leave your towel or other stuff. When you arrive ask the reception to give you a room in a corner there are much quiter. I hope I helped you!🌸

Hi Stuart, the beach is not great for swimming or snorkelling. The bay is full of now dead coral which is extremely sharp and at low tide it is too shallow to swim over the coral. At high tide you can swim and snorkel but do be very careful of the coral. There are fish to see but it is not a great experience. Also, depending when you go, the incoming tide results in a lot of jelly fish that need to be avoided.
There are signs that state they close at 7pm however we were in a room that looked over the pool and saw people swimming at night.
We thought we would do the same, but if you've had a big day full of adventures, a big dinner or hit the night markets, you'll find the 7pm pool closure doesn't really bother you
There are more places to choose from in the Kamala area.
