Previous answers are correct. As we were walking pretty much normally, we just took the steps to work off some of the extra calories we were putting on at the breakfast buffet and the pool bar. We assume that you could avoid all of the steps because otherwise, how could the housekeeping trolleys negotiate the difference between levels.
There is one main lift, plus another that was under repair that takes you to the top level restaurant and bar. We did actually discuss that wheelchair bound visitors would have trouble up there at that time. We assume that the repairs would be completed by now - but worth checking. We normally went out for the evening and only went to the top restaurant once, using a drink voucher we got with the package - it was quite expensive up there - BUT worth it. The view was great.
The hotel staff were very helpful. If you ask them they will certainly tell you anythign you needed to know.
