At Radisson Resort & Suites Phuket, opinions about the service vary, with accolades for the staff's friendliness often juxtaposed with concerns over cleanliness and sluggish service. While the location is generally appreciated for its tranquility and beach proximity, the journey there can be hectic. Guests are divided on the rooms, noting both their spaciousness and instances of maintenance neglect.
Cleanliness is another point of contention, as some praise the upkeep, whereas others highlight inconsistencies. The amenities, including the pool, receive a mix of reactions, and the value proposition is frequently questioned due to the perceived high costs.

The hotel is cozy, calm, everyone is smiling, both staff and guests. The atmosphere is absolutely friendly. There is a small animation (charging, entertainment for children) one minus, the time was known only for charging. Movies on the big screen in the evenings by the pool, albeit in English, but they are all familiar to us, so there were no problems with understanding. They swim in the pool even at night... so you can watch movies and swim at the same time. The Russian staff at the hotel is great +, they will help, tell, advise. The sea in October in the area of the hotel is choppy, suitable for boarding, but if you go a little to the right, you can swim there with children calmly, the depth is minimal. The choice of food at breakfast was sufficient for us, everything was gradually changed for the better, coffee machines appeared (a little slow), fruits began to be covered with lids to hide them from flying insects, in addition to breakfast cereals, dried fruits appeared in addition, etc. little things, but nice. The room was cleaned and the bed sheets were changed every day. But they don’t touch your things (this is a big plus), if you scatter things around the room, they will remain in the same places, so if you want order in your room, then keep it.

This hotel was not our original choice, I booked it last minute after 2 days before arrival our apartment reservation in Surin has been canceled by host. You could imagine it was stressfull to find proper accomodation in high peak season few days before arrival. Needless to say we overpaid, but that's the price and our choice based on circumstances. Hotel is situated in begining of Kamala, on quiet dead-end street. Please note, that you need to cross kind of motorway in order to access beach, so knowing local driving habits and traffic intense it might sometimes be challenging. In nearby vicinity of hotel there are 4 restaurants ( 2 indian and 2 mixed-tourist ), as well as small grocery shop, fruits shop, money exhange and 4 massage saloons. 5 minutes walk ( like 300-400m ) to beach, 15-20 minutes walk to the Kamala center. Taxi from airport ( shared minivan ) costed 1300 THB and took >1 hour. Travel back to airport at 7.00 in morning by Bolt took 40 minutes and price was 600 THB including tips to generous driver. Next time I would pre-book transfer from airport to avoid hassle and waiting time at airport. I was in little doubts after some reviews on TA about hotel, however after stay I must say it was very decent hotel with own pros and cons. Some visitors mentioned hotel is dated and requires refurbishment and proper maintenence. I agree, but its also visible on public areas and inside rooms that some refurbishment works already started. Hotel is a U shape building complex of 4 levels with pool complex in between. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartments, which consists of spacious room, 2 bedrooms, large balcony, separate toilet and shower. Floor was old wooden and needs a replacement, but other things, like wardrobe, beds, bathroom seems to be new after refurbishment. A/C worked properly, water temperature was not well regulated, rather on colder side, but that was ok considering ambience. Breakfast was good, of different choices and good quality. There few moments when all plates/cups was gone, but later on restocked. Service was ok, not anoying, had problem with lamp bulb, was exhanged fast. Pool was ok, yes, missing few tiles, but otherwise pretty good. Could be more sunbeds though. Clientele was mixed of mixed nationalities ( rus, uk, arabic, far east people ). Overall very decent hotel in average location. Some places requires refurbishment, but that was not critical for our stay. Would recommend, however myself would not stay in Kamala as destination.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We also appreciate your understanding of the areas that need refurbishment. As you mentioned, we have already started working on some improvements, and we will continue to focus on maintaining and enhancing our facilities. Your feedback about the pool, breakfast, and service is valuable, and we will certainly look into adding more sunbeds for guests to enjoy. There were four of us on holiday, two married couples. The room was shared, a large kitchen-living room, one bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Hairdryer, air conditioning, iron, kettle, everything you need was there. Cleaning daily. The hotel is located five minutes from the sea, an important nuance that has to cross the road to the sea with busy traffic, because there is no crossing. The nearest seven-even is about 10-15 minutes away, there is a famous show nearby, cafe del mar. I had a birthday, the hotel completely ignored my event. Breakfast is monotonous, but everything there is: omelette, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, ham, cheese - usually sold out quickly. The prices on the menu are not budgetary. The manager Angelina is very friendly. There is a swimming pool, one evening they showed a movie near the pool. There are no dryers on the balcony, they pulled their own rope with clothespins. In general, we liked it

Relaxed in this hotel for 10 days. A Russian girl met us at the reception, the staff is friendly. That's where the upside ends. The view from the room was on one side of the pool, on the other of the unfinished houses and the barn. Right below the window is a sewer hatch that always smells, so you can't open the window. The air conditioning in our room was noisy, making it impossible to sleep. There was always a light in the closet across from the bed, which was just as disturbing. The furniture is very old and dirty. The room is cleaned for view – wipe the floor in visible places. You can't look in the toilet/shower without crying! Beechs crawl on the toilet, no washing at all inside, there is also dirt and mold in the shower cubicle, the towels are very old. The tap water smells unpleasant, and after a week of use, irritation appeared on the body. The air conditioner has black mold. There's a big layer of dirt on the light bulbs. There's a constant problem with the front door. In the pool, the water is murky and the tiles are broken off. The pool is cleaned with a small filter that is placed right in the middle. On the way to the sea is a dirty and stinky river that carries all the mud and garbage into the sea.

Hello there! Stayed at this hotel for 14 days. On the plus side, I would like to mention the sensitive work of the staff, who always responded to requests quickly. The rooms are equipped with everything you need. The location of the hotel is good, quite quiet. At the same time, in the immediate vicinity there are everything you need - cafes, restaurants, massage parlours, currency exchange offices, ATM. The downside is that the hotel is in urgent need of repair. This applies both to the furniture in the rooms and to the pool. The towels are in such a condition that they won't be merciful to mop the floor. They don't do wet cleaning in rooms. The menu in the restaurant is uniform, the range of dishes has not changed once during our stay. No one tends the shrubs on the balconies. We watered the ficuses ourselves because it was pathetic to watch them die. Anyway, we're definitely not coming back here.

This hotel is consider as a budget stay, do not over pay for it. We found better prices got cheaper after booking, cancelled and rebooked. Would not have paid the original price for it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kids club is available until 6pm, can not leave the hotel while children are in the club. Swimming is dated and tiles falling off. The WiFi was unreliable, is weaker in certain places. We had to change rooms due to maintenance issues. Note: No elevators to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, so inform the desk if stairs are a concern. Good central location for exploring Phuket activities.

Feel free to take trips here if you want a relaxing family vacation ❤️ we are currently vacationing with 2 children, 2 and 7 years old. The children are delighted: there is animation every day, a clean pool, a huge playroom like in the best hotels in Turkey. Responsive and friendly staff always fulfilled our requests, within walking distance there are cafes, massages, and two amusement parks. 4 minutes walk to the sea, the beach is clean, there are small waves on the sea, the sea is very warm and clean! Breakfast is decent, but it’s better to come before 8-30 - you risk not trying something. Natural Coffee is beyond praise. The rooms are large, tea/coffee/water is replenished every day. Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed upon request. The Russian-speaking girl Angelina, who has been mentioned many times, works at the reception - she is responsive, she will help/tell you in all questions🙌 The rooms are quiet in the evening, the music is not loud, the hotel is conducive to a wonderful, relaxing holiday! Thanks to the hotel and Angelina!❤️

This property is back off the main road before you reach the township of Kamala, it is sign posted but it is easy to miss (if heading to Patong and you get to the Phuket Fantasea area you have gone too far) Very well appointed and well maintained this hotel is a great base if you dont want the noise and hustle of Patong. The room was fine with a large living area, a small well appointed kitchenette area and two comfortable bedrooms. Bathroom was a little small but was usable. The pool area was great as was the main restaurant area. Overall a good stay.

You get what you pay for!. $100 p/n for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). Was close enough to everything. 5 min walk to the beach, 10min walk to the main beach strip to eat and drink. When it rained there were a few leaks here and there but you expect that in Thailand. We also had no hot water for a few days but once we spoke up they moved us when they could and that was no issues. The pool is massive and has a water slide. The kids area is pretty basic but it’s enough for the kids to entertain themselves for an hour or 2. Buffet breakfast everyday included in the price so you really can’t complain. I’m sure there are nicer places to stay but for the price it’s fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful 24/7. Will happily stay here again in the future.

Easy to order a taxi at the airport after coming through arrivals. Very polite driver and we arrived safely at the hotel. Check in took a bit of time. Reception staff friendly. As a VIP member, I asked for an upgrade so was given their largest apartment, which actually had 3 bedrooms for one person!! What I really wanted was quality but that was not available. No coffee machine, no 'welcome package', such as a fruit basket and a bottle of wine (which I have often experienced in other Radisson hotels in other countries). Poor variety of tea in the room (which was added to after complaining). Of course, lots of space but furniture rather dated. Bathroom was the best part. The dining table was set for 4 people. I was there for a week and nobody cleared the table and put the crockery and cutlery away. The AC was effective but VERY noisy. I would have it on in the bedroom with the door closed for a couple of hours before going to bed, then switch it off just as I was going to bed. This kind of worked. At breakfast, I was surprised that there was a large urn of instant coffee. I don't think I have ever experienced that before at a Radissson hotel. The taste was awful and when I complained, I was offered an Americano, and every morning afterwards, I was served a large fresh coffee! Full marks to the staff for knowing their customers, and I was also offered an omelette each morning. Pool facilities were very good and children were well catered for. Fortunately, it was off season so the hotel was not so busy. Maybe not good for business, but good for me! On my first morning, Anders, the GM greeted me personally, as I had made some complaints. I appreciated his helpfulness, and I got invited to a small cocktail party hosted by him. Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay, but the hotel did not seem to me to be 'Radisson standard'. The 'brand image' just wasn't present. Food and alcohol prices were rather expensive and I could buy beer in a nearby shop for one third of the price. The menu needs to be improved. I had hoped to receive some extra points, but this did not happen. The place has the potential to be really good, but upgrading/renovation will need to take place.

You can arrange a transfer from the airport with the hotel but they require your booking 2 days before. It may be cheaper just to get a taxi from the airport.
The kids club is free. I left my 5 year old there without me. My friend had a younger son (3 years). She stayed with him but I’m not sure if that was because of her or the rules. They monitor the doors very well. my older son went to collect her but they wouldn’t pass her over to him. I had to pick up.
There are more places to choose from in the Kamala area.
