Stayed on a Saturday night, firstly the pub is really nice, good food, good drinks, friendly staff, good prices. The rooms are nice, although a band was playing that night until 11.45. I went to my room at 11.30 and the tea spoon was rattling on the table so it was pretty load. After that it was fine, but for...

We booked a table here a week ago for Sunday Lunch today. We arrived early and had a drink in the beer garden..very nice..It started to go downhill rapidly from then. We went inside to find our table wasn't ready and we were asked to wait outside until it was..this took over 15 mins. We waited over 45 mins for...

We use the Bonnie Moorhen for lunch after our Mercedes NE GTG we have at Stanhope, used them the last 3 years and looking forward to going there again in August. Great beer garden out the back, girls servicing are always really friendly and nothing seems to be a bother for them. Seen the comments on the Landlord asking for...

Called in for a breakfast as we have a caravan at Heather View. Staff always friendly and dogs are allowed in which is good. Food always good and they catered for our daughter which is gluten free. Would recommend for a meal or even a drink if you are in the area.

We stayed for one night during the Coast to Coast cycle. ***The facilities – extremely poor*** Most things are forgivable if you get the basics right with a B&B – but the Bonny Moor Hen doesn’t. The rooms were basic (and terrible value for the price), with hostel-like single beds with broken legs and old, bobbly sheets. We had access...
