We stayed there for some days. The views are amazing, just at the end of the beach so really quiet. We were really lucky and enjoy the full moon party (lets say is the party of the year for the locals) just in front of the hotel. The hotel was normal, poor old rooms that never were serviced, and there...

Our family of 7 traveled to Port Barton in the low season. Email contact with Dave was great. He always responded quickly and answered all my questions. This we really appreciated. Once we arrived the place looked a little unkept but we don't concern ourselves with such things, long grass really isn't an issue. We had the joined family rooms...

1.) the electricity is only 6pm until 12 midnight (my first night, they cut it after 11pm) and some time in the afternoon. 2.) when we arrive, they don't have seafoods or vegetable (big NO for the vegetarians and Pesco vegetarians) 3.) They don't have hot shower, the water is dirty and it feels like the water is not treated...

We stayed at the Greenview resort for a night - trusting the good review of lonely planet - unfortunately owner must have changed in the meanwhile. We stayed at many places in the Philippines, Greenview was our most expensive night still it was the most desapointived one! They barely welcomed us - they opened the door of the room and...

However I can't even be bothered to list my issues with this place in port Barton, but it's sad as it Could be amazing. Safe to say doesn't visit this hotel if you are after any kind of service or sleep!...

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a good stay but port Barton has a poor electrical system with power only between 6pm and midnight and running water at similar times , it is a pain at first but you soon get used to it. The hotel is right on the beach at the north of port Barton and...

I was told to visit port Parton for its beauty and peace and quiet... Unfortunately, greenviews to the north of the bay ruins that for the whole place!! Even at midnight,at the very south of the beach I can hear the painful sounds of the singer employed by Dave, the owner! A man that says he doesn't care for money.......

Greenviews is a great place - directly at the beach, with a beautiful garden and a great bar/restaurant. Unfortunately there's a live band playing next to it EVERY NIGHT..and this is the resorts own bar. Really don't understand this!

The location is lovely, specially compared with other resorts. The 2nd floor bar has an amazing view. In the evening there is a band playing music and you can eat there as well. Be careful there is no electricity from 2-6 pm and from midnight till 6 in the morning. The staff didn't tell us this whole checking in. The...

The manager of this hotel makes it, this young Filipino guy basically runs the place. He's wonderful! The room... We had a blockage, was this resolved by the maintenance? No they just opened up the drains outside our hut so it ran out all behind the huts! It was dangerous too as it knocked the power out of our hut...
