We arrived in our RV as the first people of the season. The owner, Dan, was there to greet us and could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he had a solution for a couple of problems that we were having with the RV. The site is delightful with lovely camping areas that...

Our family of 4 booked at the last minute for a 3 night stay. We did not have a problem and when we got to the campground we found it was less than 50% full. The sites are quite large, peaceful and private. Everyone at the park really kept to themselves (my husband loves to chat with new people so...

WE stayed at this campground for three nights (Aug, 4,5,6 in 2015). The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Washrooms were clean. Site was large and clean. WE would return because there were no problems at all.

We stayed 5 nights in July 2015. Owner is very friendly and helpful, delivers firewood right to your sight and is very knowledgeable about nearby attractions and restaurants. Clean, hot showers and nice, refreshing indoor pool. Hidden gem on Highway 60! Whether you're travelling with your kids and pets, a couple looking for a relaxing getaway, or travelling solo, it's...

This park has very nice, 'almost wilderness', pull through sites for trailers and RVs with decent turning radius. Sites are large, with greenery between to create added privacy. Soil is sandy, so when it rains, the water disappears very quickly. Very quiet, but it's cool to see and hear kids being carefree kids with bicycles, soccer balls, and lots more...

I'm not an avid camper so it was good to have the owner around. He was there to answer all of our questions about what to visit or how to operate things... He even delivered the wood! His presence is a big reason the vacation worked so well. I felt safe -- and I felt my children were safe. So...

Site was well established and private RV sites, amenities were clean and well organised. The Camp owner/manager was polite, genuine and helpful when asked, plenty of outdoor activities in the area definitely go back. In fact wish I was still there.

My husband and I both truly enjoyed this past long weekend in Algonquin Trails. The fall colours are just starting and the days and nights are the perfect temperature. Neither black flies nor mosquitoes in September, so a wonderful respite. If you are a boater the nearby Dwight beach marine ramp and dock at this time of year is the...

First of all, this is a basic campground, not a "resort" as advertised. Does a resort have big gaping holes in the thin walls of the indoor pool house? That's what you get here. Please note that no outside wood of any kind is allowed in the campground, not even treated milled wood from the lumber store. Why? They've got...

We found this venue and owners to be just perfect. We were running very late and we're not going to make it there from Oshawa in time before gate closing. We called from the road an hour away and left a message about our dilemma . 10 mins later we get a return call from Dan telling us that they...
