We have drove past this park several times in the years past and didn't take much notice. We were camping during the summer close to the long weekend and it was an after thought. Nothing was available in Algonquin Park so we decided to give this a go, and we're glad we did! We travel with a 30' travel trailer...

If you like the outdoors you can do it all here in Gods country. The trees, the water, the scenery. The quiet and the beauuty, If you want a resort, a cabin or camping you have it. You could even go into the woods and go all nature. Canoeing at its best as well. Make sure visit the welcome center...

Camped here for 6 nights, at first it was nice and peaceful. The owner seemed helpful, but once you didn't abide by his rules he quickly made it known and wasn't so nice afterwards. The campground is run down and he hasn't put any effort into keeping it maintained. needless to say we will not ever make the drive back...

We spent 3 days with the kids here! It was calm and peacefull. We enjoyed it as much as the kids! The owner, Dan, is on site and very proactive. He help us with a mecanical issue and made our stay optimal ! We changed the old driving range in a soccer field and we all had a lot of...

Although this park is not in "Disney" condition, it is a natural hidden gem. We prefer wilderness camping over RV parking lot type parks, and absolutely loved this park. With mature trees and spacious sites you get a real feel of wilderness camping like at Algonquin park, yet you have 30amp, a pool and free wifi that worked! There is...

We camped at Algonguin Trails Resort on the Canada Day long weekend. Dan the owner informed me that this would be the quietest park...and it was! This was a getaway for myself and my husband. Our water hose ended up being 3 feet short from the pole (this was an 'I told you so' moment LOL) and Dan was kind...

Quite, peaceful, and clean! We drove in without a reservation and we were greeted by the owner. We asked if he had a site for 2 nights and immediately we felt at "home" Very quiet and peaceful sites. Don't call though, he is very busy with the campground and doesn't answer the phone, but rest assured he will welcome you...

Have always travel trailer camped in the park but as it was last minute, thought we would try a private campground. The owner is very friendly, always available and drops wood at your site and makes certain your set up OK to ensure a happy stay. The sites are large, clean bathrooms and showers. We did have to let the...

While it's a little bit out from the park it's very close to Dwight Beach and Algonquin Outfitters where we hired canoes. The owner, Dan? Was a character and more than helpful giving advice on where to go and things to do, thank you!

“Seriously, be very careful that you know ALL the rules. Ride your brake throughout the campground to keep your speed down. Do NOT appear at the park gate before 8 a.m or drive your vehicle through the park before 8 am. These are the things I got schooled on.”
