We stayed 2 nights and were the only couple in this beautiful and peaceful country setting. The hosts Marjory and Greg were attentive to our needs especially as the weather was poor and we literally stayed indoors for the majority of our stay. Dinner was cooked for us the first night and it was simple but excellent. Overall this place is very good value.

True country hospitality, We stayed 2 nights in a comfortable room that had magic views across green hills and valleys to Wallerawang. One small thing is although you have your own bathroom it is not en-suite. You must leave your room, cross a hall to enter your bathroom. Opening and shutting doors in the middle of the night is slightly embarrassing and noisy. The bed in the large room was very comfortable. Breakfast was really excellent; superb home made muesli, fruit, home made yoghurt, croissants, muffins along with juice, tea and pod coffee. So nice by the fire in the breakfast room. The B & B has a lounge for guests use. Marjory and Greg were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Stayed 1 night in the lively, comfortable and cozy double room. Greeted by Marjory on our arrival. Shown our room and communal loungeroo( with coffe, tea & hot choc)that looks out onto the paddock below, cows and the mountain view. 2 lovely cats came in for a pat but didn't see the dogs. Bookings.com doesn't mention that Marjory offers 3 or 4 dinner and 2 dessert options if you let her know by 6pm and very resonable prices. A cheese platter & a small selection of wine and beer also up for offer. Complementary breakfast was croissants, muffins, homemade natural yogurt with a selection of fruit and muesli, coffee, tea and juice all by the toasty open fire. You can take a farm tour for $30(we didn't participate). Marjory and Greg we're friendly, helpful without being intrusive. Would highly recommend Springmead B & B for a relaxing, quiet getaway.
