A lovely place to stay with charming hosts. There isn't anything I can say that's negative about my stay. All needs were catered for. Bill and Joan are fabulous hosts and made me feel very welcome. Great price double room with just myself staying. Close to the village for dinner and about 30 minutes from Brighton.

A repeat Booker at a truly welcoming B&B. Everything you need is available - nothing is any trouble to a wonderful, friendly and devoted couple. Breakfast is tops and sets you up for the day. Definitely my surrogate family! Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Over night stay with 2 friends. Joan and Bill are very welcoming it felt like we visiting family. They couldn't do enough for us. Rooms are clean and spacious. I had the double room, very comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with DVD. Dressing gowns provided. Huge bathroom wish I was staying longer so that I could have...

I did have a couple of niggles but the SWEET touches made up for them-like the gorgeous labrador, the unexpected towelling robes, the families booze supply in open view made this a charming home from home. I told Bill how well Id slept and he felt free enough to say he wished he'd had-heehee-theyve been doing this since 1985 and are relaxed-and...

Have stayed here once a year for the last few years and is our accommodation of choice when visiting friends in hurstpierpoint. It's outside of the main village and is either a short drive or a 20/25 minute walk into hurstpierpoint. There are some en suite rooms and some without. Beds and room sizes good. Main thing we look forward...

Our daughter was competing at hickstead and having a dog we needed something that catered for pets , we certainly made the right decision in choosing Wickham place, close to the showground. We arrived later than planned but it was no problem, had a lovely stay and a fantastic breakfast, Joan was a brilliant host and made us very welcome,...

It is lovely receiving a review especially as we do not ask for them. We like to welcome our guests and make their stay as enjoyable as possible even if it is one night .Longer stay guests become friends and make for a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere .for both us and them which is why so many return

I stayed here while visiting family in the area. Like many others, I really liked this place. The room was clean, and well equipped with a decent en suite. The house itself was beautiful, with a lovely dining room. Bill's breakfasts were superb and their hospitality was great. However, there is one thing that I value more than anything else,...

I've stayed at this beautiful house twice now and have always been made very welcome, like a friend more than a guest. Bill and Joan are a great couple, always happy to help with whatever you may need. Their friendly dogs and cat make the place feel like home and my dogs were very welcome too. The rooms are very...
