What a wonderful experience, we were warmly greeted at the hotel reception and enjoy a great meal. Our room was so cosy and inviting. We were kitted out with cold weather gear and enjoyed a lovely walk on our first day. Snowshoe walking was great and we enjoyed a campfire where Kirsten cooked up a very tasty meal for us all. Going on snowmobiles to the lake to ice fish was so much fun, another campfire we cooked sausages. The huskies were fantastic, playing with the puppies after was just beautiful. The reindeer were so gentle, I didn’t feel it take the food from my hands. Snowmobiling is fun and what you see is just breathtaking. Cross country skiing is different and would take me a while to get, but really enjoyed it. Seeing the northern lights on two nights was so

A few days based at this hotel is an experience not to be missed. Fantastic trips out into the Finish Lapland with all cold weather gear provided and lovely local guides. The hotel is so well built and very quiet and relaxed. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. The food is delicious (although a single set menu) and with notice, they will cater for all diets. A very romantic setting for those so inclined.

I'll start off by saying the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is the fact that it wasn't quite finished - for example the heating system in our room had not yet been installed so we had a portable electric heater instead. But aside from that it was everything we wanted and more. By the time it is finished, it will easily be a 5* getaway. Very secluded and remote, it was the most peaceful getaway we've ever experienced. Staff were lovely and accommodating. A special mention to Jarmo and Kimmo who were our guides for the activities and were brilliant. Food was very nice and although you do not get a choice for the evening meal, I personally enjoyed this as it allowed me to try things I certainly would not have ordered otherwise (note: allergies are obviously taken care

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays I've had. While the hotel itself is still unfinished, this did not detract from our stay in the slightest. Each and every activity was exactly what we wanted. The reindeer farm and husky sledding on the first day was a great introduction to Lapland, and was very well organized and informative. Snowmobiling was one of my favorite activities, so much so we paid to go out again with Mira, who was a great guide. While it was overcast for several days, the last couple of evenings cleared up and we managed to see the Lights both nights. The facilities on site were limited, but the sauna was perfect, and the main communal lounge was a great place to sit, drink and review the photos

The staff, guides and everyone on the activities were amazingly helpful, friendly and informative. The location and setting of the lodge is stunning next to the lake and the rooms were very comfortable. The food was very good and the main dining and bar area very attractive with the log cabin architecture and tasteful décor. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay and thank everyone whom made our stay special.
