Only stopped here for lunch on Easter Sunday. Excellent food and all the food we saw being brought out looked very good indeed. A great location to stay as well if skiing the local area - there are 5 resorts all within easy 30 minute drive....

A nice start to our holiday, using the hotel for one night. Comfy family room that slept the three of us in comfort and a lovely dinner and breakfast the following morning. Parking right outside a bonus. Ambience in the bar very welcoming. Staff very polite and bi-lingual.

We are regulars at Le Monal for three reasons, 1) Location: if you have a car, Sainte-Foy is fantastic, because in a week you can sky in no less than five resorts all accessible in less than 25 minutes by car (Valdisere/Tignes, Sainte-Foy station, LaRosiere/La Thuile, LesArcs and LaPlagne 2) Charm: it's a good looking hotel with a very welcoming...

Visited this restaurant twice in the last week. Exceptionally polite and friendly staff. Staff went the extra mile to accommodate 10 people without booking. Very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent food and drink. Highly recommended a visit when in the area.

We held a party here for my 50th and filled the hotel with our guests for 2 nights. We thought this would be a logistical challenge but the staff here made everything run smoothly, from bookings of rooms to arranging shuttle buses to the Le Pré chairlift. The party we held on the first night was so well organised by...

Plus points food is good in the bar, service in the bar and bars restaurant are great the young lady serving us on all three nights was fantastic, it's very nice and warm in your room,...

We had booked the hotel for three nights. Classical mountain hotel kept traditional; for instance wooden floors. Although is was very cold outside -7°C, the small room was but comfortably warm. It is the kind of hotel you expect if you like a modest mountain ambiance. The hotel has three restaurants of different styles. We had dinner twice which was...

We have been staying in Le Monal for a number of years which is its own recommendation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the decor reflects the Alpine charm of its location and although the rooms can be small they are cosy and warm.

Friendly, modern and classic combination, perfect views in well-sized rooms. You feel at home in a minute. First level with reception and a bar, pizzeria, second level with a very fine restaurant, serving local food at modeste prices.

Best sleep, food, and bar in the whole Savoie/Haute Tarantaise. 10 minutes from 7 ski resorts, featuring over 200 lifts. Serving endless powder for the keen Freerider!! I've been coming here since the 90's and it always deliver.
