Spent three nights with family in one of the cottages as we had dogs. The cottages were lovely and had everything one would need. The grounds were beautiful and perfect for a stroll with the hounds. Food at Delphi Lodge was delicious and staff brilliant and a big shout out to Mary and Geraldine. Lots to do nearby, pretty villages and gorgeous beaches. No complaints from this group. Thank you for a wonderful three nights.

We stayed for 2 nights and couldn’t be happier about this absolute gem. Whether you’re into fishing or not (we wouldn’t have a clue but learned a lot from returning anglers) the whole team around Michael, Maura, Natasha, Meap, Dominik and Mary did their absolute best to look after everyone and everything. The food is truly fantastic and the house and setting in the mountains couldn’t be more relaxing. A fabulous find and we are definitely coming back again.

We stayed in the lodge for 3 nights and the food couldn't have been of a higher quality and standard. A member of our party was a vegetarian and the chef created a delightful and diverse array of dishes for them throughout the course of our stay. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, they thoroughly added to the trip as a whole. We had no prior experience of fishing and our guide/instructor Teddy was a great teacher and ambassador of the sport, to the point that we have already booked for a return trip next year. The scenery is outstanding and there is so much more to do than just fish. The communal dining concept (albeit adjusted as per covid regulations) added massively to the ambience and all-round enjoyment of the trip. An amazing place to go with both friends and family!

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. The location can’t be better. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful picturesque scenery. The welcome was very friendly and warm. It’s a countryside house full of charm and cosiness. We stayed in Room 3 on the first floor. The room was spacious with a four poster bed and breathtaking views over the lake and mountains. Chef Michael produced absolutely wonderful and delicious food which was willingly altered to cater for my diet. Everybody in Delphi Lodge were extremely accommodating and helpful. The service was outstanding. Thank you all very much. The Delphi Silver Food Truck is about 1,5 km away from the lodge. While you will be walking on the road, you will enjoy the walk very much. The food truck serves homemade cakes, sandwiches and superb barista coffee. There are a few tables for you to sit down. It will be hard for you to get up and leave, because you will be blown away by the spectacular views. It is a magical place. We are definitely coming back soon. All the best. Niall & Tatiana If you are interested, I have posted a video about Delphi Lodge on my Youtube channel (link in bio).

Team were so lovely from my initial contact to book our stay. We stayed in room 4, possibly the nicest room in the house. Lovely view out of the front of the house, over looking the lake. It's not brand new, it's a country home, so yes there is some old world furniture etc but it's setting and the quiet surrounds, allow for some decompression and relaxation. Beware of the horse flies and midgets, bring bug spray if you intent to do some strolling.

Situate in near wilderness....the rugged beauty of this area must be seen. The Lodge is unpretentious.....felt at home from moment of our arrival. Accommodation is good and bright. A small library with emphasis on fishing leading to spacious drawing room. Breakfast is good...we particularly enjoyed the porridge, the bacon and black pudding. Dinner here is a must.....the canapés served in the drawing room were excellent each night....showing flair, imagination and style. Dinner is at 8 complying with all Covid requirements. The set Menu is left around from after breakfast as is the wine list allowing you to speak to kitchen if you need to. Each course we found faultless......right up there with the very best on this island and served with homely pride. If you want to be incommunicado , enjoy all that is good in Irish cuisine and chill out then this is the place. If you are into fishing and or walking all the better.

Beware of the fishing syndicate advertised, and endorsed by Fáilte Ireland and the great fishing houses of Ireland, on their webpages. In the event that Delphi Lodge is closed in the period in which your are scheduled to fish they will retain all fees for that year.

Spent last few days in the most stunning setting with my family. What a gorgeous place and the scenery is spectacular. If you are looking to get away from technology and want some piece and quiet, while also been centrally located from Clifden and Westport I would highly recommend Delphi Lodge and Cottages. We will revisit soon hopefully.

We stayed in one of Irelands most spectacular landscapes 2 weeks ago and can't wait to return! The Waterfall Cottage is part of Delphi Lodge and it is lodged between two mountains with its own little river and waterfall. As soon as we arrived we were met by frogs and immediately taken by the beauty of our surroundings, what a stunning view!! The cottage is super comfortable with all the amenities and very spacious We will be back!!!!
