We stayed for 15 days primarily so that we could get back in to the US having been in the UK. We had a great time despite having to work! Very relaxing and everybody from the owners to the gardeners were so friendly and helpful. Menu was a bit limited but they were happy to adapt and create other dishes. I would recommend Tet Rouge to anyone wanting to stay in St Lucia.

I loved my stay at Tet Rouge. It is as good a hotel as I have ever experienced. It's romantic. It's private. The views are beautiful. The infinity pool is cool and fresh . The rooms are lovely. The food is great. Homemade tamarind juice for breakfast. When I asked for mango, they picked purple mangoes from their trees. When I ordered margarita cocktails, they picked the limes fresh. The staff were helpful, connected and interesting. Our hosts were charming. I can't recommend Tet Rouge highly enough.

We stayed at Tet Rouge shortly before lockdown due to the pandemic so it was a bit of a stressful time to be on holiday. Despite this we had a great time. The apartment was huge, as was the balcony (great for star gazing at night!), and showering in the outdoor shower was one of my favourite things to do each day - such a novelty! The bed was also really comfortable and the fan kept things cool enough at night for a good night's sleep. This boutique hotel is small and at times we had the whole place to ourselves. The infinity pool was super relaxing as was the bar/restaurant area. We really liked Vince - what a great guy! And all the staff were lovely. There is a beach nearby which we drove to - pretty special place as we had it to ourselves except for some local fishermen. It's just the other side of Gros Piton and no entry fee unlike Sugar Beach. In terms of location, it's really quiet at night. There is an option to eat at the hotel which we did one night. Otherwise it's about a 15 minute drive to the closest mid-high range restaurants. The roads are exciting to drive in the day but less so at night, so just bear that in mind. Also if you're staying here it's better to have a 4x4 type vehicle to get around this beautiful part of the island. We hope to return one day soon, once this pandemic is over, so that we get to enjoy it without the added stress. We hope everyone from Tet Rouge is safe and well. Katie and Dave

We just finished a 4 day trip to St. Lucia and stayed at Tet Rouge the entire time. This boutique resort is a really special place - we absolutely loved it. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious; the outdoor shower was our favorite feature along with the balcony where we enjoyed 2 of our breakfasts! We had all of our breakfasts and 2 dinners at the resort and the food was delicious! We are vegan and the staff truly accommodated our diet with Gavin himself preparing a mouth-watering tofu scramble for breakfast for us, tasting better than we ourselves have made! The service is great with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed chatting with Gavin and Vince. Diana and Adriana promptly answered emails for weeks leading up to our trip and throughout trip to help us book taxi transfers to all the places we wanted to see or eat at, and provided helpful advice! If you are using google maps for estimates of how long it will take to get somewhere, you may want to add 15-30 min to that because of some unpaved roads, traffic, night time, etc. Our few recommendations to make Tet Rouge even more incredible would be to have 2 robes in the rooms, update the mats and umbrellas on pool chairs, have some add’l towels at pool itself that can be used to line the chairs (though staff is totally willing to give extra towels), and lastly, there is small strip of unpaved road once you turn onto street that goes to Tet Rouge that is quite bumpy so it would be great to have that paved. We would come to Tet Rouge again in a heart beat and plan to recommend it to all of our friends and family!

I mean, the review profile speaks for itself. Stayed 3 places during our vacation, this one by far the best. If you need people falling over you or want a cookie-cutter vacation or a resort band to play you UB40, go somewhere else please so that when we go back you aren't there :). If you want a beautiful, peaceful room, wonderful countryside you can walk around, a super-friendly and laid-back staff and vibe, neighborhood rastas, and a feeling like you always have the run of the place, come here. Food was actually the best we had on the island. Friendly owners, an amazing happy-hour and sunset--> dinner, and great camraderie between guests (only 6 rooms here). Also close to all the major attractions. Roads in St. Lucia are crazy, but water taxis are great and highly recommended. No need to plan day excursions ahead of time, If you know what you want to do Gavin can help you once you get there. Only place I've been to on vacation where I am going to actively recruit people to go to. Better value for less money than other nearby resorts IMO. Agreed that kitchen area is a bit spartan, but they are going for a simple eco-vibe. Only thing I would change would be to add a Microwave, a couple more pots/pans, and some ice trays. Did I mention the amazing rainforest outdoor shower,walk-in closet and swim-up bar? This place undersells and overperforms, If your looking for a peaceful tropical getaway in the countryside.
