Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were looking for a spot in the middle of the Burren so we could tour around.
Moneen house proof to be perfect for its location and the possibility to park.
The couple that runs the place was helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was way better than any other Bed and breakfast I stayed in before.
Our room was very spacious, ensuite and with a walking wardrobe.
We had lovely views of the Burren mountains.

We stayed here for 2 days, and what can I say... AWESOME :) Madame Moneen was very helpful but like other said she gave us our space.
The breakfast is divine (Nham that Miny Irish)...
The room was huge for us :) Not a single thing to point to this B&B and to Anne :)
Thanks for receiving us :)

A pleasure to stay here, clearly Anne and her family gave lots if experience in the hospitality industry. Breakfast is exemplary, if you want something specific just say. They made our family pet feel welcome too.

Too bad there weren’t negative numbers. It all started so beautifully. We were planning our trip to Ireland for our only son’s wedding, and we were so thankful to have secured a home that would accommodate our family.
Then COVID-19 hit. Our reservations are for August 2020, however, the Ireland wedding has now been cancelled due to the cancellation of the bride-to-be’s time off from work. She works in the dental field and since all dental offices are closed in the US, her employer let her know that when work is able to resume, no previous approved time offs would be honored.
We were so disappointed, but we have gone about trying to dismantle our trip. Gone are thousands of dollars. And this host just added to it. First, she would not respond, and only when AirBnB became involved did she. And then she will not give any refund under these circumstances. (She has a 48 hour cancellation policy!! Beware.) She doesn’t seem like the type to work well with others, as any communication from her is brisk and rather unfriendly.
If you do plan to use AirBnB, don’t make reservations with places like this, as you could lose a lot of money. There are plenty of other places to stay that offer far better and friendlier terms. Good luck, and hopefully, we will all be able to travel some day again soon!
