The Six Senses Zil Pasyon is celebrated for its luxurious villas and well-appointed rooms boasting stunning views, though there are suggestions they could benefit from modernization. Nestled in an idyllic location, it's often recommended as a tranquil honeymoon haven. Guests consistently commend the attentive service and spotless cleanliness of the resort.
However, opinions on value diverge, as some visitors find the dining and services to be pricey. While the amenities generally receive high marks, a few areas reportedly could be refreshed.

This island has to be the most stunning island we have ever visited and had the pleasure of staying on again! The resort has been extremely well thought out and fits perfectly in this amazing location. From the minute we stepped off the helicopter we were just blown away by the beauty of this island. We had booked a panorama suite which had everything we required with spectacular sea views. The villas are spacious and beautifully appointed. The bathrooms are amazing with a swing seat and huge shower area. The resort offers a very prompt buggy service if you don’t wish to walk the hilly pathways. The views from this resort are to die for. This is the ultimate chill in luxury holidays - you can snorkel, cayak and paddle board, and there is a twice weekly shuttle to La Digue island - also a must - chargeable.
There is the most special evening hillside sunset for two - which is a must. Champagne and canapés are served as you take in the breathtaking vista. We felt like we were the only people on the island sitting in this most magical location - can’t recommend highly enough and thank you to Anton for organising it for us. We would certainly do it again.
The food served from the two restaurants is really good and there is a plan in place to lift the food choice/quality to a higher level which we think it will certainly benefit from.
The staff are super and all so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to Fatira our GEM, and also to Daniel and Ricky our buggy drivers who were really interesting and entertaining.
We had an amazing stay and I just hope it’s not too long until we can make our third visit.

Hotel's Favourite
We squeezed a three-night break into our 14-day holiday in the Seychelles, and boy were we glad that we did. In hindsight, we wished that we had spent longer on this idyllic island.
The Seychelles is a very special place, everywhere you go, across all the islands, you are blessed with Instagramable beaches, flora, and fauna. But there is something very special about Felicite.
The island itself is dramatic and beautiful, with giant granite boulders, and tropical forests. However, in our opinion what makes the Six Senses Zil Payson stand out from the rest is the ethos and atmosphere that permeates everything on the island. Because it is done so elegantly and it feels so effortless to you as a guest, you simply float around the island in a relaxed, cossetted bubble. Turning up for dinner whenever you fancy, finding a completely secluded place on the beach to watch the baby sharks, attending free sound therapy sessions in the spa, or calling on your ever-smiling and happy GEM to arrange something for you to do.
You stroll down the beach to rest in the shade and wish you had brought some water with you, don't worry it's already there waiting for you, you feel like having a cocktail, here is one served with a view of the sunset, don't want to leave your amazing villa, just swim around your own pool and order food to be delivered to you.
And at every touch point or interaction, it feels as though you are just chatting to a friend. Nothing is too much trouble, everything seems easy and as a consequence, even the most stressed out of us have no choice but to relax, recharge, and go with the flow.
Having already spent 7 nights on Praslin in a 5-star hotel we thought we were relaxed....we, as it turns out, didn't know what 'relaxed' was until we arrived here!
We left this island floating on air and we would 100% attribute this to the staff, it's abundantly clear that this hotel is expertly managed. The team provides guests with exactly the right balance of privacy and attentive service, very impressive.
The only thing we would change...next time we will stay longer!

Hello everyone who is reading, we vacationed at the Six Senses hotel from 05/01/25 to 05/05/24 on Felicite Island (Seychelles).
We flew from Mahe Island by helicopter to Felicite, the helipad is located next to the airport, the hotel helped book and organize a transfer, since the island is private, the transfer was booked through the hotel.
The welcome was excellent, everyone was very friendly and responsive, as well as the General Director and personal Russian-speaking assistant, Vladimir.
Since our English leaves much to be desired, we were very lucky that there was an assistant on the island, Vladimir, he accompanied us all the days of rest, helped us with the choice of excursions, events, created a menu, some items were incomprehensible, I am very grateful to Vladimir that we were not lost on island, because there were no Russians except us, Vladimir helped out a lot!
On the last day, we wanted to watch the sunset in the mountains, on the top of the island, Vladimir took us to a point on the rock where people had not yet walked, took us around, we had a great time.
The island itself and the villa are very beautiful, but if you go there, you need to keep in mind that there are few activities there, go there for solitude with nature, you can go snorkeling, the gym is open 24/7, the beaches are not for swimming, there are a lot of stones, corals near the shore, the beaches are purely for snorkeling, there are spa programs.
The cleaning is very good, they clean twice a day, in the morning while you are at breakfast and in the evening while you are at dinner, keep in mind that before going there you should buy SPF cream, preferably 80, and after-sun cream, since there is only one store on the island, which we don’t go to We found nothing that would help us, but Vladimir brought us aloe leaves, this saved the situation a little, but it’s still better to come with your own products, it is advisable to purchase them at the pharmacy at the airport, since our products brought from Russia were not effective and we all burned equally
In general, to summarize, on the fifth day it was already a bit boring, there was not enough activity, because the night comes quickly, and there are few lights on the island, you can’t walk after sunset, the sunset itself ends in 10 minutes, but the beauty of the villas and landscapes is This is of course a bomb, it’s worth visiting such a place once.
If it weren’t for Vladimir, we probably would have sat in the room and didn’t understand a lot, just get ready that the prices there are crazy 🚀
But it's a similar story on all islands
P.S. Check the receipt upon check-out from the hotel, because upon check-out we ended up with over 1,500 € from somewhere, in the end we sorted it out, but it’s better to check everything

Difficult to know where to start. The room had a beautiful layout, sensational views, well equipped with Fridge, wine cooler, coffee machine and Ice maker, however it was showing its age, a little and needed attention soon. The beaches are not particularly inviting or impressive.
There is basically one restaurant where you have breakfast lunch and dinner, save for the theme nights where the ocean restaurant opens. On one occasion for breakfast I ordered scrambled eggs on toast with Avocado, I was told the avocado wasn't freshly sliced but more of a Guacamole, I said no to the Avocado. along comes an inch thick slice of toast half covered with Guacamole the other in what I can only describe as half an egg scrambled, It was quite pathetic. I sent it back and was told the chef had been asked to make me a very large scrambled egg, all I wanted was a normal portion nothing else.
Before dinner we had a drink in the bar, I ordered a Gin and Tonic, there was no tonic in the bar the guy had to run to the store room he brought back 2 bottles, what cocktail bar is not stocked with Tonic water??
Chopsticks night was a disaster at a cost of £150 per head for those on bed and breakfast it consisted of a limited 2 choice per course menu. we decided on the Lobster spring roll, which had exactly zero lobster in it, followed by the Rendang beef, It was so tough basically inedible . We complained to the staff and a discussion took place with the Executive chef who basically walked off and said nothing. To add insult I ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress who brought it over to the table had never opened a bottle of wine before, so I had to open it myself to save her from being embarrassed. After that evening we had room service 3 time which was good, but didn't envisage eating Pad Thai in my room for a week.
The resort seemed totally understaffed with the exception of Marcus who worked the Pool, the bar and the restaurant nobody else there seemed to care in the slightest. I get the whole Six Senses theme, but this bordered on a complete lack of service and attention by everyone. We cut short our stay by a day , and went to the Constance Lemuria, totally different vibe but let me say the food the service and the attention was absolutely top class and very much welcomed. You just get the feeling that since the IHG takeover in 2019, too much emphasis is put on expansion and profits over good old customer service.

Dear petergT5320YW Greetings from Six Senses Zil Payson Thank you very much for your review and so sad to read you had not so good experience in our F&B department. We absolutely take this to heart, and I personally have spoken to the chef about this in detail, however, thank you also for the good comments regarding Marcus and indeed he is a GEM and I have conveyed the message to him already. Dear petergT5320YW thank you once again for your review and comments and please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any other assistance. Best Regards

Just back from the most relaxing week at Six Senses Zip Pasyon, my GEM Vladimir was simply the best, each day he checked in to help make any arrangements from dinner, to spa to sunset viewing.... Without having to ask I was offered a studio room access with complimentary breakfast on arrival to fresh up and rest - given my villa check in time was 2pm, same courtesy on departure villa offered for late checkout. The staff were amazing super attentive, very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend a visit. I would definitely visit again

Sadly the Six Senses Zil Pasyon fails to meet expectations by quite some margin. Very good in places but very lacking in others - in particular service (think Caribbean) and F&B.
Well below the standards of say Ziggy Bay (excellent service and F&B) or Four Seasons at Desroche who really nailed it.
You wait 15 minutes for a menu. Then over 30 minutes for a simple main course (pizza, fish and chips) and when it comes it’s very disappointing. Smallest fish and chips I have had for a long time, and pizza was congealed cheese! That was lunch on day 1. Tried again in the evening and service likewise terrible and therefore did not eat in restaurant again. Three nights of room service!
Did have a lunch Caesar salad - Tesco do better. Initially no croutons or Parmesan- sent back - and came out with soft croutons and grated cheese. Sent back and did not easy lunch that day. Staff disdainful. Some attitude there.
Breakfast however was fine/good. Some of it hidden in a wine cellar but once you worked it out it was fine.
On the plus side, our villa was great, good pool and views, the spa is excellent and we also were able to see and swim with whale sharks. An excellent skipper and new (very stable) boat for that. Getting to the resort easy via heli (20 mins, but bags had to go separately as 325kg weight limit for 4 people and bags. Extra cost for this both ways), and some good snorkelling around the resort, although plenty of day trippers also come in boats and park up there (so no feeling of being remote etc). So you can snorkel in the same spot for 10% of the cost! Also some jellyfish (blue bottles) but they do warn you about them.
Ultimately if you are paying over Euro 2000 a night for a room, you want good quality service and good. F&B prices circa 30% above Four Seasons but quality well below, and that spoiled it for us.

We just finished a glorious 10 day honeymoon at this property and we can say it was the perfect location and property for our honeymoon. Starting with being met at the helicopter landing pad by Anton the Resort Manager along with a personalized golf cart greeting us made me think of Mr Roarke and Fantasy Island 😎 Our Villa (we stayed in #21) was spacious, comfortable and had spectacular views. It was very private and we felt like we could not see or hear any other guests in their villas scattered throughout the grounds. When we asked for a portable Bluetooth speaker for the pool and to take to beach with us Anton made it happen. The room also came equipped with a espresso maker and a milk frother so that was a lovely surprise as there are not enough luxury resorts equipping their rooms and villas with milk frother for those of us who love a good latte or cappucino. Our assigned GEM Fatira and Abdel as well as Rahgu who took care of our villa not to mention the amazing spa staff ensured that our stay was top notch. Alvin who did our rum tasting and wine tasting as well as served us during some of our special experience dinners will go far in life with his work ethic and personable approach to hospitality. The crew that worked the breakfast always met us with big smiles and a genuine attitude to start our days well.
Of course there were some minor blips like undercooked poached eggs, over cooked steaks, not stocking cold water and towels in the La Digue boat trip (€50/each way per person) and a rude buggy driver guide on La Digue that was arranged by resort but frankly those were addressed promptly by staff and did not majorly impact our stay and experience—hey just training opportunities in my eyes.
HIGHLY recommend this amazing resort!

The property occupies an absolutely stunning private island. The rooms/villas are wonderful (in some way I feel the website pictures don't do them justice) and go from the beaches up all the way on the hill. Meaning that everyone should be able to pick their favourite: some people might like proximity to the water, while others being on a higher level.
I personally prefer the latter, and the views from the villas high up the hill are just breathtaking - no matter what time of the day. By far, my favourite thing of this resort. If you like to spend a big part of your time in the room and like beautiful views from the top, this will make the trip for you.
The layout of the villas is very conducive to spend lazy days there, with a lounging area, a great dining table, a small pool, as well as the possibility of opening up the glass windows and essentially turn the bedroom area into one space with the outdoors.
As much as the villas are stunning, on the contrary the communal areas of the property are underwhelming. When we visited only one restaurant area was operational (with the excuse that the one closer to the water was not usable due to splashing waves... except it remained very dry on every night). The one bar was very sad looking (probably due to the fact that the nearby restaurant area was closed) and often left unmanned. Overall the finishes are a little cheap looking and certainly not on par with top end resorts (chipped wood, old decking not particularly well maintained, a bit of an ancient decor, ...).
Food was just not good enough. We stayed for almost a week and one restaurant option is insufficient for a private island setup of this kind. Moreover, the quality was mediocre at best. Regular options are fine, but the themed dinners were a disaster (I recall a Mexican night where the quality of the food was worse than a cheap take-away... think nachos with industrial melted cheese). All of this comes at a very, very hefty price tag, which is normal for Seychelles but contributes to the inadequacy of the offering. The wine and beverages costs are also well known to be overpriced in Seychelles, and this resort is no exception, but no surprise there.
Service was also odd, and it showed from the onset. We were assigned a villa that was the opposite of what we had requested. Guest names were spelled wrong on the welcome cards. All minor inconveniences, but what is more evident is that the overall service is two steps below the standards of luxury resorts. Requests to the butler took very long to be acknowledged, breakfast pre-ordered for a certain time showed up at random hours, when sitting by the communal pool or on the loungers facing the beach, not once a member of staff came by offering to take a drinks order (let alone offering refreshments), we always had to hunt someone down either at the bar or restaurant.
I must say that the view from the villas and the location are so stunning that I would be tempted to give it another shot just for that, but no longer than two or three nights.

What a warm welcome by the team of Six Senses upon setting foot on the island. A good start indeed. Thereafter our Butler took us to our villa, which was spacious withh lots of privacy. The furniture and the floors looked a bit worn, but overall a great place with all the amenities to be expected. Food and service were overall very good, but prices for wine on the rather high side. Coming from the Raflles on Praslin island, which is also a luxury hotel, there seems to be a 50% top-up for wine prices at Six Senses. Also enjoyed a great massage at the Spa. Some complimentary Yoga classes took place at 9.00-9.45. After a shower and the transport by buggy to the breakfast, it was 10.15. Given that the buffet closes at 10.30, this felt like a unnecessary rush. We told the team that Yoga should be at 8.30 or the breakfast should be open until 11 o‘clock. Hope that they listen to this feedback. Overall we enjoyed our time in the Six Senses, even though we felt that ancillary prices were on the very high side. Just because the guest can afford the hotel, doesn‘t necessarily mean that you can overcharge on everything else.

We decided to revisit the Seychelles because it left such a lasting impression on us from our first visit before the pandemic in 2019. It was out first time staying with Six Senses Zil Pasyon and we were certainly not disappointed. After a long flight from the UK once we finally arrived at the jetty we were given warm reception by the GM Frans and Cristian along with the welcome party.
We were whisked away to over Ocean View Villa by Cristian, where we completed all the check in formalities. After a guided tour of the villa and a brief explanation of the island resort we were allocated our Gem Abdel.
The moment you step foot on the island you are made to feel welcome by the entire team at Zil Pasyon. What make this place so special is the fact you are so connected with nature, tranquility and privacy. It feels as though its your very own piece of paradise.
The breakfast buffet was great, we also pre-ordered breakfast in the villa which was placed the night before and was delivered on time the next day. As you walk around the island exploring the beaches, spa area and the hiking trails you are just simply in awe of the place.
Our villa was just perfect, the house keeping and turn down service was spot on. The highlight was your very own infinity pool over looking the ocean.
In the main dining area lunch and dinner is served, our GEM Abdel always kept us informed of the speciality menus on offer for dinner. We were also given a private tour of the residences which cater for larger groups or family located on the other side of the island.
A big shout out to all the staff especially Karen and Latifa who looked after us so well during lunch and dinner services. The F & B manager John was simply a joy…full of energy and focused on delivering excellent service for all guests. Spa manager Deepak and Santana were superb, making sure we had an amazing time by the infinity pool to catch pink sunset with champagne and nibbles.
I would also like to say a massive thank you to the entire team for the amazing birthday cake and champagne to celebrate my birthday. Special thanks to Abdel and Marius for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back in the future.

We did the half board and loved the breakfast service. I think this may just be for full board, but the thing with dinner is they often have various 'theme nights' on top of the standard dinner menu that are fun to try, where they will charge extra.

Charlotte, North Carolina372 contributions172 helpful votesWe are two couples traveling together and debating whether to go for a two bedroom villa. Question: Can anyone comment on the view and location of the two bedroom villas? TY.
They are all stunning, you will love them. All of the apartments are super private and all have stunning views. You will definitely not be disappointed with whatever you choose!
Around $300 USD
I’m not sure because we got the helicopter
Sorry cannot answer this question because there is regular helicopter activity therefore I would suggest you contact the resort. Also Fruit bats are constantly in the air mid afternoon so a drone may disturb their habitat.
