What a wonderful, wonderful sanctuary. I cannot believe some of the bad reviews on Tripadvisor about Zil Pasyon, as I really had to struggle to find anything bad to say about it. From the assistance in booking boats, helicopters, recreation while on the island - all was top notch. We have stayed at many of the luxury properties around the world and I have to say, that this is at the top, the facilities, location and staff. Kudos to Archangel, Yoan, Ryan, Dennis, and may others who I tried to remember their names. It was like visiting family that you hadn't seen in a while and when the trip ended, you were sad to leave them. They were that welcoming. Check in was seamless after a short boat ride to the island. We arrived after 6 p.m. into Mahe and couldn't take the helicopter in. Our bags were delivered promptly to our room. Room was huge, well equipped with everything you need. If you come from the states, be sure to bring a converter plug or for our 3 prong plugs, one of those adapters that change it to 2 prongs. Bed was very comfortable with feather comforter and feather pillows. Our view in Suite 18 (last on the sunrise part of island) was heaven. I recommend sunrise over sunset rooms, as there is something magical waking up to the sun coming over the Indian Ocean. If you want to sleep in, the drapes are heavy and block out most light. Bathroom was bigger than most hotel rooms, double sinks/mirrors, bathtub in center of room and a swing in the center of bathroom that looked out over the water. Shower area was equally big with ceiling head and hand wand able to be used at same time. Toilet had heated seat, wash/dry options for a bidet, and all kinds of other fancy choices. Outdoor patio had two sections, a huge sitting area with a day bed and two chaise lounge chairs for sunning. It also had an outdoor table for gorgeous dining from the villa. Pool also had a chaise built into the tiles for sunning which was amazing. From our Suite, the restaurant was a decent walk, but buggies arrived in under 10 minutes to take us anywhere we wanted. They were always prompt and friendly. Room service was also very efficient for in villa dining and food options had something for everyone. One nice touch was that we could order off any menu even though lunch or breakfast may have passed and they gave no issue about this. Food was very good. For those wanting to work out inside, there is an adequate gym with cardio machines, weight machines, yoga area and some other items. Enough to keep you going. Food options are either ala carte from the front restaurant or from the sit down ocean front restaurant. Prices are in line with an island resort. Most dinner meals were about $120-140 for two people USD. Breakfast was included. We did purchase the special dinner BBQ on the beach which was about $700, but the experience and amount of food we got was worth it in our opinion. We were served local lobster, prawns, Wagyu beef, job fish cooked in banana leaves, octopus, a number of starters and dessert. It was a lot, lot, lot of food. Ryan did an excellent job cooking on the grill and fire to give that extra flavor. One thing I recommend is the Creole breakfast bowl. Very good. I would only suggest adding an egg to the top, but as it was, was amazing. Also enjoyed the avocado toast with grilled mushrooms for breakfast. At sunset, there are a number of hammock or bed options down by the bar that are worth sitting and enjoying from. Also, if it is not booked, behind the bar is a short path that leads out to two hidden chairs that you can sit in. You need to go through the bar and you will see the hidden walk on the left. Great for photos. If you are looking to do off island recreation, I would suggest Liberty Charters from Ladigue Island. They have a website to book through. We went fishing with them and had a great day catching snapper and groupers, great family run company. They also do island tours, snorkeling and diving. They were worth every penny. If you like kayaking, the short trip out to Coco Island from the resort is an easy 20 minutes each way. The recreation guys on the island know great locations so do listen to where they suggest you snorkel. Also, I would suggest a day trip to Ladigue or Praslin just to break up your trip. Ladigue has the giant tortoises and beautiful beaches. Rent bikes there instead of being pulled in the cart. We will be back, absolutely loved every aspect of this place. I have never experienced such friendly, welcoming staff who made you feel like you were home. Kudos to all of them and thank you for a beautiful trip.

Hotel's Favourite
We recently came back from a week at the Six Senses Zil Pasyon. Every single aspect of this resort is fantastic, absolutely perfect. From the magnificent nature, beaches, views, privacy and calm, really good atmosphere, to the incredibly beautiful villas, and fine, delicious delicate cuisine. And on top of it all, the resort is managed in the most professional manner, seemingly effortless but with outstanding results. You guys really deserve this feedback. A great thank you to the entire staff and especially to Tim the manager, Sam our Gem and to Christy, - all of whom welcomed us so warmly and in the most authentic manner. We shall definitely return and have already recommended this heaven on earth to our close friends. Thank you !!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay for our honeymoon and everything was far better than I could ever have imagined. The secluded location and views from villa were spectacular. The balance between activities and relaxation was perfect. We ended up snorkelling several days as the waters were so clear and the sights were out of this world. We also took a morning hike with Rodney (also our great snorkelling guide) and it was a great way to see the beautifully diverse island and also pick Rodney’s brain - he’s a wealth of knowledge! But aside from the beautiful villa and surroundings. It really was the people that made this so memorable for us. Our GEM, Amos, looked after us (and managed my many questions!!) and he went out of his way to make us feel so very special as we were on our honeymoon! Absolutely everyone at the idyllic spot was so welcoming and thought of things before we even had the chance to. It all works as a very slick operation and yet still has the feel of a relaxed haven. Also, a special mention needs to be given to Junior, who was a delight. Before arriving at Six Senses, we had stayed at another hotel on another island and glad we did as it showed us the contrast of how good we had it at the Six Senses. I don’t know how we will be able to travel to other hotels after this…the bar has been set so high!

The hotel enjoys a very beautiful location on an island with a very well-preserved forest. Rooms were very beautiful and with amazing views. Beaches were nice, three beaches very different and each one with its strong points.

This is a decent hotel. Expensive. And not much to do. They offer smal activities. You are basically on a island with Noone but the guests and staff. Very quiet. I say the beds a little hard dor my liking. Staff is great. Beaches are small but very nice.

Our second time in the Seychelles we had very high expectations and still our experience was beyond expectations. From fantastic villas to great sesrvice to just an amazing nature setting everything was simply perfect. We had an ocean front Villa wich created a perfect balance between an amazing view over the sea and sourrounding islands but also a sence of being close to the sea. Food was excellent, we mainly went with the fish and seafood options, healthy and super tasty. Also really appreciated the on-site somelier who guided us to the rigth wines to fit the food! Food and wine is expensive, but that we knew. Its the price you pay for being on a private island. We spent a lot of time visiting all the beaches around the island which created a lot of varitety to our stay. Also had an amazing snorkeling experence with both turtles and eagle rays. A highly recommened place to visit - uber-luxury of course - but well worth it. We did helicoopter back and forth - super convient and fun!

This is a private island that only has 30 villas. They are VILLAS not rooms, i.e its like a house. Large plunge pool. Service is as you would expect - instant , polite and professional. New menu was introduced on our last day which was a real step up and all food we had was excellent. It was our honeymoon, we pushed the boat out and got what we paid for. There are options to get there - I would avoid the ferry , weather dependant but truly awful experience for all. The internal 15 minute flight is the better option, unless you can afford the helicopter. General Manager (Tim) is visible and approachable - first class.

Beautiful island with breathtaking views, beaches and wildlife. The resort is beautifully designed and seems just like a natural part of this impressive tropical island built on top and around the massive Granit rocks. The management lives up to its promise to be sustainable and to protect the environment and its wildlife (for example they’ve banned plastic bottles, fill up their own water in glass bottles, grow their own herbs and vegetables and use local products). I’ve never experienced such a welcoming, peaceful and magical atmosphere — I felt instantly relaxed when I arrived! Amazing service in all areas at all times (especially Guest Experience Manager Angelle who made our Seychelles experience even more unique and beautiful, Cloyia who delivers an excellent service at the Restaurant and Mina, who is genuinely interested in his customers needs and is the perfect host), delicious local food and beverages (and a great variety), fun activities if you want to have some action or just ultimate privacy and relaxation. The Spa-experience is spectacular (don’t forget to check out the infinity pool with the fantastic view, especially during sunset). Our Oceanfront Pool Villa was stunning — awesome view, amazing infinity pool, perfect comfort and even a swing in the bathroom. Cut the long story short: Six Senses Zil Pasyon is highly recommended!

What could be better than celebrating our 1 month wedding anniversary and our honeymoon in this magnificent beauty of nature. It was the first time we took the helicopter and we immortalized this magical moment with lots of photos with a breathtaking view over the ocean. We were even more conquered when we arrived on the island. The team were very wonderful. We received delicate attention on the buggy and in the villa which really touched us a lot. The villa was absolutely stunning and very private. A special thanks to our GEM Daryna for accompanying us throughout our stay and her awesome assistance. We also want to thanks the general manager Tim for each attention during our stay it really makes the differences. We felt incredibly welcomed in a warm, friendly, and generous way. And a big thanks to the person who took care of the villa which also makes a huge part of our confort. She was so professional and caring ! The Félicité island is very beautiful. I really liked the fact that it has several activities throughout the day which is great. It allowed us to have the choice between doing activities for entertainment or staying in the villa for a restful day. We discover the spa during an activitie because it was raining that day and we were absolutly magnified that we decide to try their couple connection 💆‍♂️ 💆‍♀️ It was exceptional. The only negative point is the lack of choice of catering. There were certain dishes offered on the restaurant menu which were not available. Also the price but it is comprehensive because everything must come from other islands so it is also a cost to take into account. It's also too bad that we couldn't stay longer because everything was so perfect ! We were so touched by all the special attention and we will definetly come back and hope we will still recognize some faces❤️ With love, Mrs Zhou & Mr Hu
