Unpretentious, rustic and relaxed. The cottage is basic but clean and has a comfortable bed with lovely snug duvet (it snowed on the nearby Swartberg while we were there) and we enjoyed our stay. Good shower too. Ideal if you are wanting to photograph the...More

Paradise for photographers. So grateful you enjoyed your stay with us! Your cottage was built in 1876 with original sash windows on front side.

We stayed with a family of 5 in the Bushman cottage. Cottage is nicely renovated with respect for the old building and has matching furniture. Spacious. Separate dining room and lounge both with fireplace. Although not very luxuruous, the cottage is comfortable. There is fair...More

Thank you for compliment on the meals. We avoid frozen foods as far as possible. This cottage was built in 1888 with original oregan pine doors, floors and sash windows. North facing Victorian veranda with spectacular view of the red stone hills and the vineyards....More

Wonderful to know that you enjoyed your 3 night stay with us! The back road via the foot of the Swartberg mountains is a beautiful, scenic drive to the Cango Caves and Oudtshoorn. Hope to see you again!

We had a lovely stay at this rustic and pleasantly secluded spot. Our cottage, The Birds Nest, was charming and fully equipped - we truly wanted for nothing and the excellent wifi was a welcome bonus. Our host made an extra effort to secure our...More

Thank you for staying with us. We have extreme temperatures in this semi-desert in winter! Nights are chilly, but the days are warm. The fireplace helps a lot to warm up the cottage in the evenings. Grateful you enjoyed your stay with us.

Petro is a lovely host and we really enjoyed staying on her farm. We were a group of 3 families who had 3 cottages between us. The cottages were clean and had everything we needed. The view from each was different and from Bushmans the...More

Nice to know that you enjoyed your braai! We do our best to avoid any frozen products. Thank you for the compliment on the cottages. Most of the cottages circa 1880!
