We greatly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Rhino Ridge and single out three elements for praise.

First, the accommodation is superlative. Our "bush villa" was stylish, spacious, spotless and luxuriously equipped. The architecture of the whole complex is hip yet integrates well wit

What an amazing place to stay. From the moment you arrive they give you 5* service, which continues throughout your stay. Had a traditional Zulu birthday song and dance from the Staff which made it so special.
Food was lovely, plentiful and was provided throughout the day.

Please advise if it is difficult to accommodate a guest who uses a manual wheelchair, but who can walk short distances using crutches e.g. are rooms some distance from central area, are access paths to rooms suited to pushing a wheelchair?
Hello Alec D, We have 1 room very close to the main lodge which is accessible by wheelchair. This would be Bush Villa 1. The pathways mainly gravel and are wide enough for a wheelchair. The main lodge area is all flat. (dining, lounge, reception and bar). We hope to welcome you to Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. Kind Regards Yolande Hay-Buchanan for Isibindi Africa Lodges

Hi what's the weather in October & are there laundry facilities available? Thank you
Hello Elizabeth, Weather can be mixed in October - it is spring so game viewing can be fun with lots of baby animals. Temps are usually around 25c, but cooler early mornings and evenings. Suggest a scarf and jacket for game drives . We do have rain ponchos in the vehicle in case of rain. The lodge can do your laundry for you, but this is an extra charge. We hope to welcome you soon

we are a family of five looking to stay in two rooms for 2 nights is possible in december. do you have any roll away beds or rooms for three. or do we need to book three rooms?
Hello Grace A, Many thanks for your question. We have family units which consist of 2 separate bedrooms with a central foyer. This would comfortably suit your family. Kind Regards Yolande Hay-Buchanan for Isibindi Africa Lodges - Rhino RIdge Safari Lodge

Hi we are booked in for 2 nights in October 2018. We are hiring a Toyota Rav and will be coming from Eschowe, so same gate as if from Durban airport. Will this car cope with the climb up to your Lodge. Also how much does a Zulu cultural visit cost. Thanks
Hi. I went in a similar vehicle and made it very easily.

Hello, we are staying with you as from the 10 October this year for 3 nights. We will be driving from Fugitives Drift Lodge, Rorkes Drift (ie to the West of you) and wondered (as there seem to be only 3 entrance gates and none of them on a straight route from our direction) where we should enter the park? As we will want to join the afternoon game drive, how long will it take to reach the park and then how long will it take to drive through the park once inside? We will have a Sedan type car (Toyota Corolla I think). Thank you !
Dear annej18 Thank you for your enquiry. Thank you Andy Carli for your recommendation as well - I confirm The most direct route for you would be to enter the park via the Cengeni Gate. (Near Ulundi) Once in the park through this gate, Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is approximately a 2 hour drive. Allow yourselves 6 hours travel time to cater for animal sightings along the way. For detailed directions please go to our website We look forward to welcoming you.
