I would reiterate what others have said about the signs and at night it might be difficult to find the entrance. However it is well worth it, we were upgraded to the attic room 6 and it is certainly impressive, the bed is massive ! and the en suite is wonderful. the shabby chic look is throughout the house and...

Not easy to find as there are no visible road signs, but worth the effort. Our bedroom room (5?) was big, with a huge bed. And the bathroom was big too, with large bath in the middle of the room, and a shower area large enough for 4! No carpets means the room can be noisy. No restaurant but plenty...

There are NO signs whatever outside the house, and you'll need to phone to get directions ; not the best start after a long journey. Large Georgian house with splendid garden. Décor shabby-chic, perhaps a little too shabby for our taste. Interesting artwork throughout, all propped against the walls and not hung - I thought this was a fad that...

We arrived in Chillington frazzled by a 6 hour drive from London on a Friday evening. (Do it at ANY another time, London guys and gals…) Yikes. Greeted by the lovely Tamara with an upgrade to the 'attic' room 6 - poetic justice maybe - cause it's more a 3 room suite than anything else, and is FA-BU-LOUS! Gloated over...

We’ve been three times to the WhiteHouse. They used to serve dinner in the conservatory and when we heard that they were no longer doing this we were a little worried, but its so easy to get a short taxi ride, or a walk to somewhere that does great food we were able to try out places we otherwise wouldn’t...

I booked this hotel via mr and mrs smith because it was exactly what I wanted from a hotel. A beautiful Georgian building but a modern feel inside. The garden is beautiful . Our room was amazing room and we loved the shower cum bath. Wasn't so keen on having toilet in open plan space. I would definitely stay again....

We've just returned from a wonderful minimoon at the Whitehouse. The house itself is beautiful - we loved the décor and stayed in Room 4 which was gorgeous. An amazing wooden four poster bed with freestanding bath in the room - the bed didn't just look great, it was ridiculously comfy too! The bathroom also had a large shower which...

We recently rented Whitehouse in its glorious entirety for a friends hen weekend. It was the venue for a very romantic proposal so our expectations were right up there - and we were not disappointed. The only way I think I can describe the hotel is that it feels more like a home; the home belonging to your coolest friends....

Everything was perfect about our stay, including the sunshine! The Whitehouse is stunning, from the interior decor to the beautiful garden. Ali our host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We really felt completely relaxed and we'll definitely return, especially to hang out with the marvellous Percy, Bertie & Jack. Top tips - We stayed in Room...

I booked a romantic weekend away through Mr & Mrs Smith for me and my partner and on arrival our first impressions were good. We arrived in the dark having struggled to find the place as there is no signage whatsoever, but once we parked up and approached the house, it looked beautiful and very inviting. The Mr & Mrs...
