Harpers on the Beach is in a beautiful quiet location very close to Port Arthur. We had a lovely stay and the accomodation was very clean and comfortable. We took the option of dining in and had a yummy 3 course dinner with the other guests in the dining room. Freshly caught flathead by Jill and John was enjoyed by...

Very clean and tidy establishment with well appointed rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom modern. Proximity to the beach is second to none, and a long stroll on the fine white sand is a must. The hosts are very accommodating and respectful - we only met Jill while we were there, she was very welcoming. Breakfast the...

A chance last-minute recommendation turned out to be a absolute diamond. The Beach Cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, Jill and John are unobtrusive but ever-obliging hosts, and the serene setting makes relaxation compulsory. If you have the good luck to be there when Jill is offering one of her Sunday night dinners, say yes please - the food is every...

We have just spent 5 days here in the self catering cottage, which has everything you need for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Good car parking. The owners, Jill and Jon Mills were very helpful: they even put us in touch with the local friendly sailing club where we successfully hired a dinghy when we expressed an interest in sailing....

Great to be able to walk from the property onto the beach and go for a long stroll. Jill & John are great hosts and the accommodation was perfect. The only problem was we only had one night before heading home to Queensland. Highly recommend.

Spent two nights at the Beach House. A very beautiful and peaceful place. The beach is just a few minutes walk through the garden. The House is well appointed with two beautiful bedrooms each with a comfortable queen bed. The sitting room area has comfy seating with views over the garden. The kitchen caters for cooking meals and even has...

We just happened to find this place when our plans changed and we needed to find a spot for the night. We knocked on the door and luckily they had a room available. We were absolutely delighted with this place. Very comfy rooms with a view of the beach and such a lovely beach it is! The hosts could not...

Beautiful property right on the beach. It's only a brief walk to the beach and the sea and you could see the sea from our room. Friendly hosts. Free WiFi. We stayed two nights within the main house and we also opted to eat in which was a three course, home cooked delight. Wine and beer available as well. Breakfast...

Beautiful location, exceptional food and perfect hospitality. We stayed in the cabin and had our meals in the main house. The meals were better than I have experiened in some five star hotels and the produce was fresh from their own garden. Would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended!
