Now I dont expect luxury for what I paid £23 for a double on suite room. But I do expect to be able to sleep and not one wink has been had all night staying here. Thankfully I am up at 3am to catch my flight. All you can hear all night was noisy, loud and rackety pipes all night! The shower tray got water logged so you couldnt stay in there for long, not that youd particularly want to. The room had an overbearing smell of foist and there was mold on the walls. The bed was surprising comfortable and the sheets were clean. A family member was put in a family room and one of the beds in there had one ball off the leg missing so the bed was on a slant. There is a small free car park which is good. Also I opted to pay for the room on arrival in cash but they took the payment out of my bank two days before I arrived which is not the choice I selected. Wouldnt stay here again, definitely not.

I have to give this a 5 star for the purpose of the visit and price i paid. Cosy room on second floor, comfortable double bed, hot shower very clean and coffee/tea in room! Perfect location for the airport, taxi was £10-12. Parking at the BnB was available which was an unexpected added bonus. Michael was very attentive as I was stuck in horrendous traffic coming from London. I arrived at 23:30 and had to leave at 6am. He left the key for me and looked after my car whilst I was away. Eventhough I didnt see him I knew I could trust him - customer service was fantastic. Many thanks Michael for making the start and end of my holiday drama free! Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, George took me to the airport at 6am! Quaint small hotel. Breakfast was of good quality. Could hear planes at different points but they were not regular. Room was warm and comfortable. Parking was on site.

I was due to stay at this hotel as I had an operation at Pines Hospital the next day, but due to a change of plan I did not have the opportunity to stay at the hotel. However, based on the customer service I experienced from the staff I would definitely recommend this hotel. Leda the owner, is knowledgeable and friendly. She also kindly cancelled my booking free of charge due to the circumstances. If I have to visit this area again, I will certainly be paying Pymgate Lodge a visit!

Had a great stay here, had a family room on the ground floor as my mother is unable to tackle stairs. Considering the hotel is directly on the flight path there was little noise from the aircraft. We had breakfast both mornings, the full English was freshly cooked and excellent and the continental breakfast was very good as well. I’d happily recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in the area.
