We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious, although disappointingly noisy given that we'd asked for a quiet room - I guess there's not much peace and quiet to be had on a warm Summer evening when the football is on the big screen. The breakfast was excellent, but do book it in advance - some fellow guests were left hungry when they arrived for breakfast expecting to pay for it on the spot. Bed was comfortable, although softer than I am used to - still managed to get a full 8 hours each night!

Unfortunately we stayed at this hotel, we do not know the area if we knew what the restaurant & bar were like we would not have stayed. The room was basic, not clean & the tv only had 2 working channels. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly & helpful but were struggling with some very drunk customers. The music was very loud & when eventually the customers left the staff were still noisy that went on until about 1am.

My husband and I recently stayed for a weekend. It was great. We were really worried with everything going on but as soon as we arrived we felt safe and happy with all the precautions in place. Our room was great. Very clean and enough room. Bed comfy. Breakfast was great full English cooked just as we like it. Staff attentive and helpful. Pub was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. We will definitely return in the future.

Called in after several months of staying safe at home for a well deserved drink and meal. Felt totally safe inside and the staff made certain everyone stayed safe. The whole time we were there was absolutely fantastic, easy process of ordering etc and the food and drink were fantastic. The staff were excellent and friendly especially Maxine I believe her name was always checking everything was good and everyone was happy. Moved into this area just before lockdown and didn’t get chance to try any local pubs I’m sure I’ve now found our new local. Excellent and thank you we will be back soon.
