Last minute stay. The warm friendly staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We were able to have dinner in our room which was brilliant (and not limited to a room service menu). Gorgeous linen, towels, fluffy bath robes, even a proper tea pot. Breakfast was fantastic. Great value. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed here as night two of a birthday surprise weekend. Check-in was via the bar but very quick and easy. We hadn’t booked a table in the restaurant but asked when we arrived and they managed to accommodate us. The room was lovely – very clean. The bathroom was well appointed with a double-ended bath and very large walk...

Stayed for the weekend in a deluxe double room which was a good size, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Huge en-suite and a great shower. The breakfasts were well cooked with good produce and friendly helpful staff , good selection of cooked and buffet. Dinner both evenings was great, good menu choices and would recommend the fillet steak, cooked to...

I've stayed here several times over the last few years. Rooms are very well presented and of a good size with very nice bathrooms. I stayed here for 3 nights and hosted a business event in their 1st floor conference room. Restaurant serves a nice selection of good quality food; good breakfast and bar area too.

I have stayed here twice recently. Once in December with a shooting party and then last week with my wife. In December I stayed in the hotel itself but last week they gave us a cottage for the night and I'll review that this time. The cottage is round at the back of the hotel and slightly separated from it....

Me and my boyfriend stayed here after New Year for a couple of nights and we stayed magnificently. The room was huge with a big and comfy bed and modern bathroom with all the amenities necessary. We had dinner both of the nights and the staff were helpful and nice. Food is great with big portions. I definitely recommend it!...

We had a lovely time at this hotel. We stay away in hotels frequently; the food here was excellent - both the evening meals and the breakfasts (one of us is vegetarian). Our room, on the top floor was very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. It was large with a very comfortable bed and characterful décor. Our dog was...

I stayed here with a group of 12 friends for a few days shooting nearby. Staff were very good, rooms are modern and clean, food was good ( apart from the breakfast sausages and bacon which could have been better quality and cooked better, but to be fair I did not complain so they did not get a chance to...
