Dear Carla_2009; Wow, such a nice review- thank you so much for taking the time to write about your experiences in detail. La Piedra has always been one of our favorites when we were building the hotel in 1985, we asked the tractor operator to...More
We recently stayed at Finca Rosa Blanca for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon and we had an excellent stay.
Upon booking we requested a master suite and were given THE master suite, Rosa Blanca. The staff surprised us with rose petals on the...More

I'll leave out all the details, but I screwed up the dates for our stay. The manager was accommodating and worked with Expedia to refund the incorrect night even thought it was our fault (FYI, always book through the actual site; it's better for the...More

Dear Dweaver... I am glad you worked out the error with Expedia and could enjoy our little hotel and coffee plantation. When things go awry and we have Master Suites available we always try to upgrade guests to ease their "pain". The Rosa Blanca master...More

Thanks for sharing your experiences at Finca Rosa Blanca. It is true we do not have air conditioning, as it is totally unnecessary here in the coffee highlands. We have an average daytime temperature of about 78 degrees F (26 degrees C).

We loved our couple of days here. Finca Rosa Blanca is a wonderful place to stay… delightfully idiosyncratic - absolutely not the cookie-cutter international format - but with high standards and thoroughly professional.
Although our room lacked a view (unusual here), it was very comfortable...More

We have all kinds of visitors to Finca Rosa Blanca, including single women, single men, couples, families, business people and adventure travellers. I am sure we can accommodate your every need and you will meet interesting people who are drawn to a place like our small hotel/coffee plantation.
It is very tranquil and visually beautiful here (we consider our resort a work of art), but we offer a lot of different tours when one wants to get out a bit: cultural tours, culinary& chocolate tours, hiking in the cloud forest, volcanoes and so much more.
And our chef, Gustavo \Alvarado is really amazing and uses all of our greenhouse "farm to fork" idea of slow food, with lots of creative dishes using Costa Rican ingredients.
Please check out our web page and you can read in more detail about who we are- a family owned (3 generations) experience.
