My husband and I based ourselves out of Jan and Dave Tarbuck's beautiful 12th century B&B, while we visited Normandy. Jan and Dave could give lessons on making people feel at home. The facilities are comfortable, extremely attractive, with lots of privacy and space to unpack. In addition to the delicious breakfasts, featuring a variety of fresh breads, cheeses, etc.,...

A little gem in the countryside near Lessay. Wonderful English hosts offering refreshment in the garden on arrival. The breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit and an assortment of pastries. Our room in the 12th Century cottage was very pretty and had an en suite toilet and shower. We would definitely return.

Stayed at this B&B for one night. After a long journey from Rouen on a motorbike, we struggled to find it mainly coz we didn't have sat nav, however, we did in the end and couldn't have had a warmer welcome. Jan brought us a well deserved cold beer which went down a treat. We had pre booked dinner and...

We arrived late in the evening but received a very warm friendly welcome. The 12th century house is beautiful with wooden beams and a real old castle/manor house effect. Jan and Dave were so friendly and my husband was delighted to discuss the world Cup and the Premiership with Dave over breakfast. Huge breakfast with yogurts, juice, croissants, pains au...

We stayed here 12 years ago, different owners then. We used this as a base for touring Normandy for the 70th D-DAY Landings. The building and room were as we remembered them. Jan and Dave, not forgetting Wor Millie, gave us a really friendly welcome. We ate in on 3 nights and how pleased we were for doing so. Jan's...

We stayed here for one night on a cycle tour of Normandy. The house is easy to find, deep in the heart of peaceful countryside but only a couple of miles from the coast. Guests stay in a separate part of the house which is beautifully set up with rooms upstairs and downstairs a small kitchen and sofa/TV area. Breakfast...

It's my privilege to have this opportunity to write a short review about this lovely place and the people who run it. If you need an easily accessible base in Normandy this is an ideal place if you want a really enjoyable and quiet holiday. The 12th century building is situated in a quiet area that is only a few...

5 of us stayed here on a cycling tour on the way back from the Tour de France in July 2013 and I think I speak for us all when I say the hospitality shown by Dave and Jan was absolutely second to none. On arrival, Dave stored our bikes securely in his garage before welcoming some rather weary and...

Comfortable rooms, great location, delicious meals, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Ideal for touring Normandy or for stopping overnight on way down through France. Will certainly use again if in the area. Happy to recommend to anyone, they will not be disappointed.

Quiet location on the outskirts of Creances but only a 6-8 minute walk to the centre of the village which has most amenities, bars (2), boulangerie, small supermarket etc, and even a small restaurant. The larger village of Lessay is a 5 minute drive away as is the local beach, Creance Plage. The accomodation is comfortable, very clean and quaint...
