The Rupnarayan Tourist Lodge is the best place to stay in Gadiara. With ample parking space and lush gardens , the tourist lodge is situated right beside the confluence of the Hoogly and the Rupnarayan rivers. The ferry ghat is a 2 minute walk from this property. The Rooms are good in terms of a govt. property and the quality... More

Situated at the confluence of Ganga and Rupnarayan, the tourist lodge is a gem. Rooms are ok ( but considering the cheap rates the rooms are just fantastic) with grand view of the rivers from balcony. Being a government property the behaviours of the staff are nice with excellent hospitality. The hotel is undergoing massive renovation, after which the rooms... More

It is the biggest property there with a nice garden full of flowers, trees, plants, pond and a play ground for children. We had taken a room on the first floor which was quite large. I came to the balcony and could see the mystic river Rupnarayan just across the garden. They have their own restaurant. They served fresh food... More

The Rupnarayan tourist lodge was my husband's selection for a quiet weekend gateway and he wanted to drive. The lodge is situated on the banks of the river and you cant get the AC or NON-AC river facing rooms. We booked an AC room online.Though the entire lodge can do with some maintenance or cleaning , overall appearance is good.... More

A large balcony offered nice view of Rupnarayan river. The large compound has ample car parking space and a children's' park. The restaurant offers nice food with descent price. The... More

Located on the banks of the Rupnarayan, this is the most popular tourist lodge from the WBTDC. If you are planning to have a weekend of total relaxation, not for more than 2 days, check this out. Don't go to this place if you have plans for driving or boating or a bath in the river...this is for relaxation and... More

The property is huge, but the maintenance part is just pathetic... We had bookings for two triple beded rooms, but on arrival @1130 hrs, we signed on check in registar @1200 hrs but the rooms were actually given after another half an hour, as painting work was going on inside the rooms.... The surprising fact is, rooms were not occupied... More
