We had a wonderful weekend ar Marlings End. Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage in beautiful surroundings. Great views from all the windows. Staff at the manor were very helpful and friendly.

The house needs an urgent refurbishing. There is no water pressure in the shower. The size of the house is ok, although the single room is tiny. Everything is very basic. The fridge is not big enough to accommodate 5 people. The microwave-door can't be open when using the hob. The sorunding area is amazing and there are lots of...

Wonderful stay. Quiet, scenic, the rolling hills like nowhere but the Cotswolds. Nearby villages charmed by the season and the history. Thanks to the family for the best days ever. The accommodations are not the ordinary thing but the way you can get to know your family is the best.

Lovely properties with historical integrity. Beautiful countryside. Accomodating yet unintrusive service. Dogs welcome. We took a number of properties on the estate for various family members and all were satisfied.

Fabulous place - what a find. We had Peter's Nest cottage for 2 people. Very quaint and well furnished including kitchen etc. Set in beautiful grounds - you do't have to wander outside the grounds if you don't want to. Only negative - we are very tall and the bathroom ceiling was low. Also, it was impossible to have a...

Owlpen was a wonderful place to relax, enjoy family time, hikes in the fields (bring sturdy boots you don't mind getting muddy) and turn off the stress of daily life. There is a great coffee/arts shop in the village as well as a small general store run by volunteers where you can pick some basics, otherwise it is about a...

Owlpen is in a charming 'lost valley' in the Cotswolds to leave behind the busy city and slow down. Bella and her estate office team, were all warmth and effeciency, willingly accomodating our change of dates. The cottage we used, The Court House, is charming and comfortable, even the tiny spiral staircase is an added excitment, but not for the infirm....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We offer holiday cottages in this magical Cotswold valley, which has long been recognized as one of the most romantic places in England. Come and relax in our nine Cotswold holiday cottages which sleep from two to eight guests (38 in total for larger groups). The cottages range from listed buildings and farmhouses to small romantic one-bed woodland retreats and a studio apartment, so there is something for everyone! At the centre of this secluded Cotswold valley is Owlpen Manor house, a medieval manor house which is lived in by the Mander family, and is described as "the loveliest place in England". We manage all of the properties ourselves, and like to feel that our guests are coming to stay with us when they arrive in this perfect corner of the Cotswolds. ... more   less

“We stayed in Woodwells, which worked really well for our family - Mom, Dad, two young adult children. Both kids had rooms of their own, and having two bathrooms meant no waiting. The kitchen is well appointed which made cooking easy. Bring groceries because shopping is limited. We spent Christmas there and loved every minute of our stay.”
