Lovely welcoming Inn with very good food and friendly staff. Room was very pleasant and cosy. One small niggle was that central heating system was a little noisy during the night. Overall though, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

Stayed 13/14 Nov. A lovely 17th century coach house which has superbly been kept with original features front of house, the rooms are modern and well equiped. We were going to Cheltenham races and it was only half an hour away so ideal location for us. Also ideal for visiting places such as Bourton on the water, which we visited... More

Stayed here 12 + 13 Nov. The rooms are at the rear of the Inn. They are chalet like. Ours no6 was clean and we'll equipped from the large towels and toiletries to the coffee + tea making items. We read about traffic noise but to be honest we could only hear traffic if we opened the window and then... More

Superb short break . Excellent accommodation and warm friendly staff. Food excellent especially the highly recommended pies. They lived up to expectations.! The sparkling afternoon tea was a nice bonus and welcome after a day out in the rain. There was so much we could not finish it all.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After a evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter infront of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill ... more   less
