Used a Christmas present voucher from last year, and it was worth the wait. From our first greeting to the last goodbye everyone was friendly and attentive. The pub is warm and welcoming, it has a relaxed atmosphere , a great place to get away. The accommodation was clean , shower was lovely , big and hot. We had dinner...

Chose Farmers as it was near to Gloucester, dissapointed with Gloucester but not the Farmers! Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nicely laid out, bed was massive. Room a little cold, but it was freezing outside. Restaraunt was nice, pies where spot on, nice touch was reserved table in the corner near to the roaring fire. Beer spot...

Just returned from a 1 night stay at the Farmers Boy Inn. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by all the staff. We were covered in mud from a day mountain biking, but we were still invited to have a drink in the bar before going to our room. The room was excellent, located adjacent...

Been here on several occasions, always great service and the pies are incredible! The menu gets regular updates and the shop within the pub means I can take extra pies home! This pub offers regular theme nights which are always great fun

Had a lovely weekend stay at the Farmers Boy Inn. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Luke,a real top guy. Phil was cheerful and lively and welcomed us with great fervour. Accommodation was adequate clean and tidy. Food was sublime, a pie on the Friday night which was full of meat and flavour definitely award winning. Steak on Saturday...

Warm friendly welcome. Great quirky pub. Staff attentive with good sense of humour. Legendary pies live up to reputation. Had a fabulous 2 night stay in this well located pub. Room separate to pub was private and a good size- very comfortable with king size bed and well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. Extremely relaxing place.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Simply put, we love food. Not just for what it is, but for the experience that accompanies it. Homely surroundings, great company and conversation, attentive waiters, who become friends and of course fine wines from around the world. After a evening of gastro food delights, gourmet pies and laughter infront of the open fire retire to our courtyard of boutique individually designed rooms and drift off, to wake up to the sounds, sights and smells of the idyllic gloucestershire countryside. Followed of course by a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll up the majestic May Hill ... more   less
