Nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was Disappointing and the wine was ridiculously expensive. Plus I think a large coke and two small ones for £8 is a bit pricey.

Upon your entrance a big horse statue will greet you. :) . The staff are very good, the room is a reasonable size. The price we had was a good deal but not exceptionally cheap. We used the spa facilities and it was good. I had a facial, nothing extra ordinary. The breakfast was

Alena gave me and a friend an amazing massage today. We are both so relaxed and will certainly be returning. George on reception was cool too. The pool was nice and quiet and the sauna was perfectly warm. Not much texture in the jam for the cream tea. That’s my only criticism.

I’m coming by train from London and would like advice on the closest station to the hotel.
Hi Joan_Crenshaw and thank you Jo49 for your comprehensive and very correct response! A taxi to the hotel from either Cheltenham or Gloucester train station will cost around £15/£20 depending on the time of day and company used. If you did choose to use the excellent bus service there is a bus stop on the road outside of the Hotel. Please do feel free to contact our Reception team for more information if you need it, and in the meantime we look forward to welcoming you soon!
