Owners are very rude to children even though it states family pub. Such a shame as it is a beautiful setting. Not recommended..landlord and landlady both very rude to our children. Not a place I will be visiting again.
My partner booked this trip for my birthday. With my daughters, their partners and dogs we completed a 6 mile walk to Haresfield Beacon before arriving to our booked table at the Beacon Inn. Dog friendly country pub, one of the reasons we booked.
The building is a bit dated however when we got to our room we were presently surprised. Room was clean, large and modern with a bath big enough for 2 to relax in after a long day walking.
