I was initially torn between this B&B and others closer to the MIM train station, but in retrospect, I'm glad I chose this slightly more remote location (10min drive). It was no trouble getting back into Moreton as the housekeeper's husband, Khaye, is a driver and he was very flexible, even able to pick us with just half hour notice....

Thank you also for taking the time and effort in writing such a comprehensive review which as you know are always helpful and important to us whether good or bad. This was a 50th birthday pressie for the OH - a two night getaway in a classic car, and Windy Ridge came in the package. We were in a 1974 Jensen Interceptor, and anticipated rolling up and stealing the show only to find owner Nick has a pretty impressive collection of cars himself. We parked next to the gleaming red...

Recommend to us by a friend, and I can safely say we would recommend it to others wanting to visit the Cotswolds. Will defanatly go back again. The room we had for 2 nights was full of character and was clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities. Nick is very welcoming and makes you feel at home as...

I booked Windy Ridge some months ago as my husband and I were attending a 50th birthday which was a weekend affair. The house itself is beautiful and traditional Cotswold in style but somewhat tired in terms of decor. I booked one of the refurbished rooms which, for £140 per night, we thought was quite small as was the bathroom....

The cottage was superb, we had everything we needed and it was very affordable. The house was old, rustic yet up market and beautiful. Doggy friendly and good for families or big groups like ours. We would definitely go back. excellent base in the Cotswolds.

I stayed here for three terrifying nights. Each night there was a lot of creaking and thumping on the floor above my tiny room. Sort of like someone on a rocking chair and then walking around. Very "woman in black". When I asked the owner Nick what was going on he said there was no one upstairs. This was even...

Well this a first! We have had well over 6000 guests stay in this room and never ever before have we heard a mention or hint from anyone of this before in this or any other of our rooms, must say though that we would be honoured to have Liz White come and stay with us!

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 3 nights at the lovely Windy Ridge House in late July. This is a majestic house set just off the A424, very conveniently located from the picturesque villages of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Williams are wonderful hosts and the House is rightly known...

The estate is huge, with well thought through landscaping, garden, rooms decorated with family history and personal touch. A very cozy and comfortable stay for couples to just chill, relax and cuddle. Location is central to both north and south of Cotswold, hence the convenience. The autumn colored leaves were amazingly beautiful!

We stayed at Windy Ridge House for 3 nights, we very much enjoyed the beautiful house and area, the cosy bedrooms and the lovely breakfast. Nick and the staff were very kind and helpful. Our three young children were made to feel very welcome too. We would definitely recommend this B&B. The only remark is that staying in two rooms...

This place is a real gem of a find. Beautiful location and grounds and the house is like something out of a period drama!
