Went for a drink a few weeks ago on a Friday with a few friends. Walked in and the staff and what looked like the locals stared which actually made us feel very uncomfortable, looks very dated and dirty we stayed for one drink and left. Wont be returning

This is a pub with rooms. Food in pub great and entertainment on a Saturday night good when we stayed. Room basic but what can you expect for £55 for a double room? Landlord and staff friendly but don't book expecting a olde worldly pub! It is what it is!

After a long drive we thought it would be nice to have dinner and a drink and go to bed for a well deserved good sleep. Wrong! The place is very loud, they were serving no food, for some reason, the room doesn't look very clean, bed linnens and towels were dark brown ( bad signs!) wifi does not work...

My husband stayed for three nights. Good points. Owners were nice/food was excellent. Bad points. Noise from traffic was constant. You have very limited personal access, you are given a room key but no front door key, so if you arrive back in the day you have to contact the owners to let back in. The room was a single...

This is a local/big screen sports bar with rooms over. It is popular with locals on a sunny afternoon and when there is a match on and a its a typical banter , pint and laugh place. I put my mum up here we she visited as we don't have a spare room at the moment And she was absolutely...

This pub seems to have a good gathering of locals and was busy for early on a weekday evening. If you like football then you will probably be attracted to come here as there are TV screens everywhere and on loud. The ale was excellent and seems to be well kept, however this is not a pub for a quiet...

Stayed here for the last few weeks due to work, Can't book in till after 5 because it is a pub but that's not a problem, booking in easy, rooms clean and comfortable and en-suit, food is well priced and enjoyable. Owners and staff very nice and friendly, although it's on a busy road it doesn't keep you awake at...

Staff very nice. Room not very good. One cup for two people. Can only get the fan to work if the light is on - not helpful on a hot night. Facilities generally poor for the price - 3am in the morning and am writing this review. Last orders for food at 5pm.
