I've stayed here maybe three times over the last six years. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfortable, if on the small side. Breakfast is good. Rates can vary and some I've seen on offer have been very expensive, making the Holiday Inn Express a cheaper option. Plenty of free on site parking. After a meal in the restaurant on...

To start let me say the staff were very pleasant, all of the girls in the evening and in the morning were lovely and friendly. Thats the good bit. Room was dated and smelled musty, opened window which sorted that. Bed very hard, i've slept on softer concrete. Power shower good, bathroom fine and tea/coffee facilities in room. Major issue...

We managed to book in at the last minute as we had a family funeral to attend. Luckily we had the last three rooms via booking.com as the Cheltenham festival was on. The staff are very friendly and professional, Megan was superb at the bar with some potentially difficult customers. The rooms are clean and tidy but the showers could...

My partner and I stopped in for a Friday night meal, wanting to support a local business that isn't a big chain. Well we wished we had carried on driving past this place. It is such a shame as is a beautiful old pub with plenty of character. My partner ordered steak, which after a considerable wait finally arrived, half...

Whilst we didn't stay here perhaps next time .We did pick this delightful looking establishment from all those around it for its charm .Brilliant "real" olde world bar .Poppy I think was the barmaids name , polite helpful and utterly charming .The beer was obviously well kept and proved highly addictive we went in for 1 before a curry stayed...

After a long days work and travel to this place arriving at 22.30 ,was refused a drink at the bar where you also check in and people were drinking, not even accommodated with a sandwich , I was told bar was closing early as no customers, and kitchen closed. Not helpful at all. Will not return.

A historic pub, visually very attractive from outside and a warm, cosy old world bar area inside. Two real ales plus good choice of others. Roxy does a great job in welcoming you with a smile and making life feel good. Food is good value, especially the mains. The room we had was ok although rather basic. No problem with...

My husband stayed here last night due to our lorry breaking down and had to be towed to Volvo garage in Gloucester. The girls at Volvo recommended this B&B to him. He said he was thoroughly looked after and enjoyed the dinner & his breakfast and thought the £3 charge for upgrading his breakfast was more than reasonable. He apologises...

we went here saturday for an evening meal. lovely old building form the 14th century with an open fire. food was a bit overpriced in my opinion. £5.99 for 2x tiny mozzarella sticks, 3x breaded mushrooms and 2 x chicken strips. steak was nice so couldn't complain too much. will come back in the future but maybe we will order...

The Little Thatch is a regular choice of ours as they are dog friendly. It is always warm and welcoming, with friendly staff. Food is gorgeous and reasonably priced. When sitting inside it certainly doesn't feel like you are a few miles away from the City Centre but more like you are out in the country.
