This is an amazing old chateau being used to provide 4 self catering gites and also a small number of B&B rooms. We only stayed for one night and wished we were staying longer. We were in a B&B room on the top floor of the main house, it was wonderful. The 2 rooms had really comfy double beds with...

The gardens at the chateau are absolutely beautiful. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming, clearly doing their best to maintain such a huge place. We were given a very nice room that was clean but a little basic but we scarcely slept as we heard noises you would rather not hear in the attics overhead. I am hoping it...

We went here for a few days in may this year. We were accomodated in the maison du jardiniers wich very nice. Cozy, tidy and plenty of room for the two of us. But it can hold 4 sleepers so more is possible. For breakfast, very French, you go up to the main building. At our departure we asked and...

I went there with my boyfriend. Nice place and romantic. We had a great time there. And had a warm welcome from the lady who work at the reception. Quite place and peaceful. I loved it there. Big place and it's nice to walk by the castel. You got lot lots of small road. Better if you take your car...

Can't believe the bad reviews here, If you want to stay in a chateau with beautiful gardens, you cannot go wrong. The lady in charge was welcoming and friendly and our room (The Jardiniers) was just lovely with views of the grounds. The breakfast was a little bland but the quality was fine. You can pay a lot more for...

Our family of 4 stayed in the Jardiniere, it was wonderful! A small building on it's own with a double bed downstairs and 2 singles up the steep stairs for the children. The location is beautiful, 2 horses in the field next to us, short walks to the river or through the woods. Breakfast is basic French offerings. Just be...

This is a delightful Chateau. My wife and I stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were met by the charming Lucy who showed us to our room in a building away from the main house, it was very clean with a comfortable double bed and blissfully quiet at night. This really is a bed and breakfast place...

My wife and I just spent 6 days at the beautiful castle of Le Rozel. Even though the weather was challenging to say the least, our stay was very enjoyable. The castle is very well maintained ( the grounds as well ). The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast served in the main castle was excellent and...

We stayed in Chateau du Rozel in end of September 2011 for one night and really enjoyed it! That's a good place to stay for one or two nights during on your way in Normandie (if you stay longer you will be bored). What we liked: - Romantic place: old castle, nice natural area around; - The clean and quiet...

I passed this B&B Chateau in June: I resolved on my next visit to Normandie I would stay the night there which I did in October. I stayed in La Lavanderie? ( the washhouse) and it was charmingly rustic. I was given an excellent recomendation for dinner at Les Pieux by Madame. The Chateau is in the centre of a...

“I would recommend to go to the castle's website, check what characteristics your room should have and then don't forget to print the printouts together with your booking page. Show them to the receptionist upon arrival to avoid our situation.”
