Another beautiful getaway in the secluded hills of Pretty River Valley. We are return visitors to this magical place. Highlights of our stay this time were the delightful crepes and fluffy waffles offered for breakfast. Our spacious room felt cozy with the crackling fireplace and we enjoyed complimentary oatmeal cookies and hot chocolate throughout our stay. The service was, as...

Our daughter chose this lovely hotel as her wedding venue. The view from the hotel is stunning and the farm provides an idyllic background for pictures. The hotel owners allowed us to use their private living room, which is stunning and was beautifully decorated for the wedding party. After an intimate wedding ceremony, champagne and delicious canapés were provided from the...

Our search for a winter/Christmas getaway and a wood-burning fireplace is what led me to this humble and tranquil location near Collingwood, Ontario. Our pleasant experience started out with a series of emails which were all answered promptly and in full detail. A time and price were hammered out and reservations made with little hassle. Both my girlfriend and I...

We spent a blissful weekend last winter enjoying the spa and then crackling fire and sparkling wine afterwards--ahhh! Breakfast next morning was delicious and the kitchen happily accommodated our companion's request for a wheat-free meal. When the host recommended we, "try the maple syrup, we made it yesterday!", we knew we'd be back!

I looked long and hard before I decided to book here. I wanted an indoor hot-tub, outdoor hot-tub and a wood burning fireplace and this place had it all! I was popping the question that night and wanted everything to be perfect…and it was! We ran out of wood for the fire at about 8 in the evening and with...

We had the most amazing experience staying at the Pretty River Inn. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is a great location to stay for visiting surrounding areas. This place is a gem and a MUST for travellers. An experience you will not regret. Belidna and Paul, Wales

We absolutely loved our stay at PRVC Inn! We were so impressed by so much.. the careful thought on little things -hooks where needed, slippers, umbrellas, TONs of towels, comfortable EVERYTHING. Excellent wireless, tv, dvd, etc. Also wildly impressed by the response to special needs.. we had to make a teleconference and the host offered to help us with land-line...

We stayed for the 1st time at Pretty River Valley Country Inn - Thurs. Oct. 13th to Sun. Oct. 16th and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the "Loft" which was warm and cozy despite the horrible weather outside. Our arrival Thursday evening was very late (12:00 P.M) and Chris stayed up to ensure we arrived safely. Thank you...

I chose to stay here on Thanksgiving wknd especially based on the very good reviews and that it was #15 out of more than 1330 listed places. The staff were very responsive to email enquiries but I would say that it was slightly over ordinary, not average, but not exceptional either. It is quite out of the way and not...

I am afraid my response to the trip advisor is a small novella and I do apologize. The question the guest posed was a good one “Why is this rated so high?” After a great deal of dithering and since it was a question I found I needed to respond.. As a host of a small Inn with limited marketing...
