We have visited Minerve many times but this was the first time that we'd ventured into this fabulous Restuarant - we've missed so much, more fool us. Great location, top quality food, excellent service and all at extremely reasonable prices - absolutely fantastic value all around. We will certainly revisit and would heartily recommend.

Relais Chantovent is a delightful little hotel tucked right in on the main street in Minerve, France. As with most European hotels, the rooms are small, but adequate. Do bring your hairdryer! The restaurant that accompanies it is excellent. We had emailed ahead, asking for a table on the outdoor terrace. When we got there, the Mistral winds were howling...

We were driving from a village which had a lovely market and we passed a sign to Minerve 9 kl so I suggested we go there for lunch what a spectacular sight we walked this village and found the restaurant Relais Chantovent and had the most fabulous meal. We had the wild mushroom crepe, the mushrooms tasted heavenly and the...

Minerve is an exquisite medieval town w rich Cathar history. We took lots of back roads through the mountains and were awestruck by the natural (and human-made) beauty (there are also quicker, more direct ways to get there.) It's also w/in easy driving distance of Carcasonne and the ruined fortresses of the Cathars (wh are well worth the drive and...

We have visited Minerve a number of times and have always said that we would love to spend a night there to experience this lovely village after the tourist have gone in the evening and before they arrive in the morning. We were not disappointed by our decision to stay the night. The quiet and tranquillity was superb. We did...

Great location, difficult to get a table on the terrace, where the views are stunning. Refined and tasty food, reasonably priced. Service very good. Very good value for money given the quality of the food.

The headline says it all. There are only a few tables on the terrace, so book in advance if you want one. The view is stunning. The food is well up to Michelin star standard, but less fussy. There is extreme care to source locally and all sources are named. The service was very competent and pleasant too. As they...
