Hi I just wanted to say how happy we were staying at Davey Crockett Ranch. Very clean very green and spacious out side space with everything you need. We are a family of 12 of which 4 are children. We went in the half term uk schools for a 4 day Disney trip with magic breaks. The one thing I’m so very disappointed in was that they shut the pool on site for cleaning. To open again a week later for the French half term. I’m ao disappointed as was very hot and we really could have done with it. It was still showing open on our arrival and while we were there the only heads up we got was a notice on the concierge desk on check in. In our party we have a young person with mobility issues and a child with kidney disease so the pool use would have been great for us and made our stay so much better with the heat and a break from the excitement of Disney. We were not offered anything to help make up for this even though they knew 1 of our party had a disability and it really put a downer on our stay as only booked it for the pool. So do check before you book in May half term 2024 so you don’t get caught out like we did.

The pool was closed for our entire stay and this was not made clear at the point of booking at all. The golf was also closed and the farm empty, although there were goldfish… I was extremely unhappy about the pool closure (we are a family that loves swimming which is why we booked the Ranch!), I had to go into reception for 3 consecutive days before this got resolved satisfactorily. The way in which my dissatisfaction was handled by ‘the manager’ was almost more frustrating than the pool closure. In the end a complaint to Disney direct got it sorted. Expected better from a Disney resort. Where we were moved to however was nice and the pool was open throughout, so our last 2 days were good, shame about the first 3. The beds were very creaky too, so you constantly wake yourself up!

Great location with great facilities Food was lovely, all you can eat buffet had everything for everyone. Short drive to disney. Rooms were clean, breakfast could have more options but good enough. Only used the place really for somewhere to sleep but if we stayed longer would have used more of the amenities and gad more of a walkabout

Great location and pool (although shut!). Good space but lacking "extras": coffee machine but no filters, dishwasher but no tablets, no washing up liquid or tea towels, thin towels. Great decking and big bench but never cleaned so covered in dirt and bird poo. All slightly shabby and feeling they are running it down - not the high quality Disney experience we expected. Staff were very pleasant but really couldn't answer several simple questions like asking for second key

The forested area, communal area is beautiful and great, it is much nicer than I expected . Love that there’s souvenir shopping without crowds. If I were to be there longer it makes sense to stay here with tickets and Disneyland parking being included with the price. But if you aren’t staying long, can plan ahead, get tickets with any discount offered (military or weekday) then you’re likely better off with a hotel. The cabins are dated. There really is no “Disney magic” anywhere around. It’s like camping. We weren’t close enough to walk to the communal area, we had to drive. We also had to drive to pick up breakfast. The bbq was dirty, like I don’t think it’s ever been cleaned. The cabin floors tilted to one side, meaning a foundation issue and they creaked super loud, if someone went to the bathroom at night we all woke up. It has a dishwasher, basic dishes pots and pans , stove. No washer or ironing board but they do provide a clothing drying rack. (For when you use the pool I assume) The dishes in the cupboard were dirty, left over cheese dried on from dishwasher. So they didn’t check just put them back in cupboard. Otherwise it was clean. Beds are super firm , like cots. For that price, and it being Disney, I expected more glamping than camping. It really can’t be that expensive to replace the cabins, they’re just small trailers. Breakfast for 12€ was…well, fine if you haven’t had a chance to pick up groceries for your first morning. It’s instant coffee, cereal, milk, juice box, baguette and jam and butter. So it’s fine but not something to rely on as breakfast every day.

Very basic with a Disney cost - swimming pool a nice addition but overall slightly disappointed. I’m sure there is better accommodation for a lot less even if you are looking for a Disney experience which this lacked a little. Short drive to the park and early hours were great but again due to strikes some shows were not running disappointing fir the cost of tickets but everyone needs to fight for their rights !!!

Lovely quiet lodge in the woods very close to Disney park 8 minuets away. Double bed very comfortable cozy lovely sleep, the singles beds could do with new new mental bases as very noisy. The lodge is very Clean and warm. Did find a bathroom bin not emptied with hair in but that was all. Swimming pool is nice just a bit chilly for little ones, but a warm jacuzzi which little ones can use to. I would recommend bringing your own towels as it’s €2 to hire a towel which you need to pay for first from the shop and take the ticket to the pool to get the towel.

Just do it. Its the most magical of places for any age. It was my second time at Davey Croket Ranch. There I s a reason why its hard to get a table. That's because it's an amazing restaurant. Wear comfortable shoes, your on your feet all day and night. Make sure you see the fireworks, that is a must. The parade also is a must.

The little houses and the surroundings are just great. 2 bedrooms are just perfect for a family :) The pool was also great and the water is really warm (I have read a lot of reviews that the water was too cold).... kids enjoyed it a lot :) Only drawback is the distance from the house to the facilities... every time you have to use the car going to store or pool or restaurant, but this is not something that will stop me from staying there again :) I don't recommend the restaurant... I was really disappointed from the choice in the buffet :( Not big choice and not very special, only the desserts deserve mentioning, because they were really a lot and tasty. And don't rely to get a beer from the store. Everything else was bearable as a price but the beer was too expensive :-D

So, first trip to DLP for me, my partner and her 4 year old. We stayed in a different hotel the night before so we could get straight into the parks first thing in the morning, before checking into our lodge that night, then had 2 nights staying there before heading home. A weird plus point on the lodge would be that it’s great to be able to park right next to your accommodation rather than trudging through corridors, lifts and car parks every day. Also, the pool at the DC lodges was great on the one occasion we used it. Location of these lodges was also great with just a short drive into the parks each day. Negatives would be that, while I appreciate the lodges are ‘entry level’ accommodation, ours was very tired and needed sprucing up a little, and the only sign of anything Disney was on the bedsheets and toiletries, no sign of any Disney magic if I’m honest was just a bit disappointing. Parks were great, and did all we expected. Queues were occasionally a problem, but we did manage to get on almost everything in both parks at least once during our 3 days. We had half board which worked great, one dinner in Billy Bobs and one in Pym Kitchen, one character breakfast and one takeaway breakfast from the lodges. My only real complaint was that we also purchased the photo pass plus, which we were all excited to use, particularly for the pics you can get taken around the park by proper Disney photographers. However, all we ended up with was half a dozen pics on rides, I didn’t see a single ‘photographer’ on either park in 3 days!
