Everything about this B & B said good taste and style from the tapware in the bathroom to the linens used throughout the premises. The place had a cosiness about it. The breakfasts were sumptuous. Our hostess, Linda, was very welcoming. It has an old world cottage feel.

Stayed here twice, mid December 2016 and January 10/11 2017. Cecil House has a very private and self-contained area for B&B guests. The host, Linda is wonderful and she offered great suggestions on Manly - we visited Curl Curl Beach N of Manly for a great swim in the ocean pool, followed by an enjoyable walk back to Manly. NIce comfortable and clean room and a great breakfast. Linda was a great hostess. My incoming flight was delayed by several hours and I arrived late. Linda met me at the Manly Beach ferry so that I wouldn't have any problem finding the place in the dark. A little kindness goes a long way!

We were fortunate that this Manly B&B had both bedrooms available to accommodate myself, my mother and my two young children; a very lucky find and great alternative to the hotels! The bedrooms and bathroom are immaculately presented and the separate sitting room is a great space to relax and regather, all located on the ground level which is privately...

We were incredibly comfortable staying at Linda's lovely B & B in January. She was excellent with answering all of our questions before our stay. We felt very welcome staying with our two children. Something which is not always easy to find when choosing private accommodation. Linda could not have been more helpful. We had all the privacy we needed...

Stayed here for a week, first visit to Australia. The place is a great location for the beach and easy reach for Sydney by ferry or bus, tried them both. It is a bit of a steep walk from Manly centre, 15 min, but we took a regular bus 2 stops and 5 min, very easy. The B&B is very...

A wonderful and cosy house with a very friendly and helpful host. Linda helped us with the transportation, the sights, maps, bustables and just about everything! The breakfast was very good, free wi-fi was highly appreciated and we really felt the warmth and care that Linda radiated. We will not hesitate to return- we can't wait to return!

We are a family of 4 with two young boys both under 12 at the time of our visit. We spent five days at Cecil Street B&B in April 2016. Linda is a warm and generous hostess. Adding small touches that make a huge difference (won't spoil the surprise and it may be different for each person/family). The rooms are...

Owner was very responsive and well organised. My room was charming with pretty touches everywhere - even a bunch of fresh yellow roses on the dresser - nice bathroom and facilities. The owner, Linda, went out of her way to look after me.
