Lovely caravan park and friendly staff. We asked for a powered site and were given an ensuite site near the river for the same price. The ensuite was modern and spotless. Nice quiet location and an easy walk across the bridge to the thermal spa and hotel for dinner. We will definitely come back.

Another excellent park... Major Mitchell is spacious, always clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Quiet place that us grey nomads can relax. Mitchell is a fabulous place to spend a day or a week and it's easy to find.

Stayed in a cabin with twin beds. It was clean and had everything needed. Beds were comfortable. Car port for car. Management was pleasant. Could hear road noise a little but wasnt too bad. Would stay again

Stayed just one night as we were passing through. The facilities and location are great. Was pleasant to camp next to the river. It is a short walk over the bridge to the pool/bath - a visit that is a must do.

We stayed in the cabins, a bit basic but very clean and everything we needed. The couple running the park we just terrific. The price was very reasonable. We will be returning customers when we are on the road with our van.

We cut out stay short , only stayed one night as we had no sleep due to the noise of the main highway. No escaping it. Management were really friendly and helpful but it doesn't help if you can't sleep

Drive through powered ensuite site. Level site, clean ensuite. Great camp kitchen with fridge and tv. Large camp fire in the middle of the park. Well looked after, friendly staff. Recommend for a stop over.

Never having stayed here before, we were immediately impressed by the friendly welcome. It is continually obvious there are many really good caravan parks mixed up with the not so good. This one we rate very good. We stayed two nights and although the Warrego Highway borders the park, our sleep was not disturbed. There are separate male/female toilets, along...

Stayed here for just the one night - horrible weather 80mm of rain. We stayed in an ensuite site which was just great for just $5 a night extra. They are very close to the hot water spa across the river a 100 m walk. There is a communal fire and seating areas with shelters around the site. There is...
