We have stayed and eaten here on a few occasions. As always the food, service & accommodation is excellent. Very well managed premises overall and we look forward to returning again soon. Top marks to all involved!

Amazing Spot. Bar is lovely and welcoming, Hotel rooms are of average size but very modern, clean and the views from some of the rooms are fab - out onto the Canal. The food in the hotel is absolutely delicious and they catered for hundreds of people whilst we were there. The staff were so friendly considering how busy they...

This is a bar and restaurant that has accommodation upstairs. Initially we couldn't find the entrance to the hotel because you check in at the bar. Our rooms were of average size with lovely decor, very clean and everything we needed was in the room. We had a lovely view onto the Royal Canal. The Bar is lovely, warm and...

I visited Keenan's Hotel for the first time on Saturday August 20th. Overall I enjoyed my visit to Keenan's. The bar/restaurant area was busy. My friend and I were seated quickly on arrival. There was a good choice of food on the menu, and prices were very reasonable. Service was prompt. The servings were ample, and the food was hot...

We arrived late on Friday evening and the staff were very pleasant. They made sure that we got our orders taken before the kitchen closed. I can highly recommend the steak. Large portions. Plenty to choose from the menu. Excellent selection of deserts. Great location beside the Shannon.

We were very disappointed with the service on this occasion. Have been in this restaurant on numerous occasions and was very pleased with the food and service. Our waiter was not very helpful and was actually bordering on rude. We asked for something that was not on menu and were abruptly told you had to order from menu. Our food...

Fantastic location on the Shannon. We ate in a posh dining room through the back which lacked atmosphere but it wasn't very busy which may have been why it lacked atmosphere. The bar/pub area looked a lot livelier. The food was pricey and to be honest we've had better in most pubs in Ireland. Not great value.

This establishment is well known in the Midlands as a place for good food and it certainly didn't disappoint ! We were met at the door and quickly ushered to a table at the rear of the bar even though it looked full. The chowder was excellent as were the mains of fish dishes. Staff are on the ball and...
