Owner was lovely and extremely welcoming. Very homey feel to the room and environment. Felt extremely comfortable and had a wonderful time. It is very close to destinations such as Port Arthur and various nature locations. Will definitely come again.

We loved staying at this cottage! The cottage was very spacious and well maintained. It had a good sized bedroom, large bathroom, sitting area with couches and a kitchen with electric stove, microwave, toaster, and water heater. There was also a private porch outside of each unit with a table and chairs. There are a few BBQ areas with picnic...

This small place is designed as a budget motel next to the highway. The rooms are small, though larger than most motels. The design and comfort are lacking. Very basic and not comfortable for spending any real time. There were no views, and although you can walk through the owner's property to a small piece of bayside land, there are...

We stayed in the small studio room, which was great for one night, but would recommend one of the bigger apartments for longer stays. The room was very comfortable, quiet and immaculately clean. The hostess Lyn is a lovely lady, who goes out of her way to meet her guests and make sure that you have everything you need. The...

The other reviews say it all. The accommodation is spotless, comfortable, and quiet. The owner is super friendly but not intrusive. I was disappointed that we were so close to the water but did not have a view of it. First world problem.

Very appealing but would have liked the heater on before arriving and an electric blanket would have been nice - it was a very cold weekend for Tassie (unsual). The gardens are magnificent and we were very welcomed.

We were greeted with a sweet little note on the door with our hosts wishing us a nice time and to call if we needed anything. We were also sent a message a few days before giving us some information about turning up. A charming little unit, warm and had all the bits and pieces you need. We had a...

The Deck is a hidden gem found with easy access to Port Arthur, Eaglehawk Neck and other beautiful surrounding sites. The accommodation is immaculate with everything needed for a self sufficient stay. Great views of the bay and a nice spot for a glass of wine at the end of a day of sightseeing. Brent and Lynn are excellent hosts...

We stayed 2 nights and found Abs by the Bay to perfectly suit us. We found our unit to be very spacious. The kitchen was well supplied, including cooking oil spray, so we were able to cook our meals. We appreciated the books and games in the unit. We also appreciated that they collect rubbish, recyclables and compost. It was...

Instead of driving back to Hobart after a day at Port Arthur we stayed overnight at Abs by the bay and really enjoyed our stay. We experienced a clean little cottage that has everything you need, giving it a homely feel. It was easy to find and we had great communication from Brent and Lyn before our arrival. Would highly...
