We checked in yesterday my and myself and my 19 year old son, we stayed in the Poolside Villa and our son stayed in a delux room and was pleasantly surprised . The rooms are perfect , and after staying in 4-5 star hotels in Singapore, Kamala, Karon and Patong, this is by far my favourite. There are a few...

I booked my 3 week stay at happy elephant via booking.com. I wanted to stay here as we stayed here 3 years earlier and had an amazing time. To my disappointment it is now under new management. I booked for 2 adults and 1 child as my 12 year old son was coming up as an adult on booking. The...

A hidden gem. When we first arrived we realised the place was not within walking distance to the beaches, however the resort was so great it did not matter. We were able to rent a scooter for just 200 baht for the whole day; the roads are pretty safe and it took us roughly 10 mins to both Rawai and...

We stayed at the Happy Elephant for about 2 weeks in November. Staff were very nice and careful, rooms spacious and clean, food delicious. The swimming pool was a real treat. Centrally located in Rawai, there are many restaurants and all kind of shops nearby. Twice a week there's a local market a few hundred yards from the resort, where...

Stayed here for 4 days. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom are clean, and they clean the room everyday. Location is very good if you rent a scooter. The only downside is that outside of my room is a some kind of water pump, so it's loud almost 24 hours.

Pretty good room, with a comfortable bed and clean toilette. In the night the ONLY thing you can hear is the sound of the animals outside. Housekeeping staff is very helpful and respectful and always ready to satisfy all your needs. Motorbike renting service available at the desk and the price is very cheap. Anyway, the kiosk beside the pool...

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed a great vacation. Hotel facilities and location were perfect; the wonderful beaches of Ni Harn, Ni Ya, Rawai, Kata and Karon just a few minutes away by scooter; lots of nice restaurants and bars, a gym, shops and a local market nearby. Cozy bungalow and lovely swimming pool in a relaxing environment....
