The rooms are really nice for the small price of about 4 pounds, but I think the reason for this is the location. The beach is about a 10 minute ride in a bus but not walking distance and a lot of that side of Phuket and the bars on patong are a little out of reach. If you're in...

It's location is not the best but it is in walking distance to the night food market. The private rooms are clean, nicely decorated and some have airon, however the dorm rooms are unbearably hot and you only get a tiny fan each. The kitchen is also very handy and is kept clean. The also have a TV and a...

We only stayed here for one night between flying into Phuket and getting the boat over to Phi Phi. It was cheap between the 2 of us and worked out about $10 usd each. We had a room on the top floor which was clean and had tv and private bathroom. Our taxi driver took ages finding it but it...

This hostel is conveniently located near the central Phuket bus station and makes an ideal stop over for travelers who have just arrived, or who, like me, are in Phuket only one night before moving on to a final destination. There is a huge outdoor market just a few blocks away which is an interesting and delicious place to find...

We stayed here for one night, before catching the ferry to Phi Phi the following morning. We caught a bus from phuket airport (85B) which took an hour to reach the Phuket Bus terminal. From here, it is only a five minute walk to Sunwest Guest House.Yes there are some dancing girl clubs around as another reviewer has mentioned, but...

well if you want somewhere close to the bus station then this is fine. but it's not pretty. maybe it was because we'd just come from a lovely place but phuket town wasn't my favourite place and it didn't help that this hotel was a few steps away from some dodgy dancing girls club. the room was actually not that...

Sunwest Guesthouse is great place to stay in Phuket. Located in the Phuket city, calm and quiet part of the island (which can be disadvangage if you're looking for partying). It's close to the main bus stop, and the bus from the airport stop. Many food stands around. The dorm rooms are big and clean, there are enough bathrooms for...
