We stayed overnight during a visit to Bath, in order to be close to Blue Leaf Ceramics (reviewed separately), where we had a reservation for a pottery session the next day. We were three couples: my husband and I, my daughter and her partner and my son and his partner. There is no common room or a place where one...

Stayed for the weekend, the room was lovely and had enough space for three women to spread out! The building is set in beautiful countryside and all the staff are full of knowledge and helpful with any requests. Breakfast was top quality and plenty or variety, set you up for the day. This is in the middle of the countryside...

We had to find an alternative B&B in the area as the one we usually use was not available. This was recommended and we were very pleased with it. It is just as advertised - on a working farm complete with friendly dogs. The room we had was in a converted barn and was very comfortable. It was also quiet,...

We stayed as part of a large party last Friday evening. Toghill House Farm is clearly geared up for the B+B trade and is very nice and set in very elegant surroundings in beautiful countryside. Our friends room was in the loft of the stables block. There are very low hung roof timbers. Perfect if you are a midget but...

We booked a room for four for one night at the farmhouse for a weekend in Bath and stayed in the stable room. The farm was lovely, very peaceful and good location. The drive into Bath was straightforward and about 10 minutes. We did get lost on our way to the farmhouse and called up, they were helpful in directing...

I stayed her for one night whilst working away from home, I had a wonderful stay, very friendly staff, the stable room I stayed in was lovely as are the grounds that the property lies in. Cannot fault it one bit, staying again next week :-) ... I'm working in bath and this B&B is perfectly situated and an easy...

Location was very convenient - we were travelling by car and the Bath park and ride is 5 mins down the road from the farm - but still out in the country enough to be take in the fresh air and a couple of nice walks around the local area. We arrived on a Sunday and the Rose & Crown...

Cold reception: you get your keys and that's it . In the family room for 5, three wooden supporting beams are placed at a height of 1m50 , so you have to bend down constantly . Barely room for placing suitcases . 1 wardrobe for 5 people! WIFI signal in the rooms is non-existent. Noise from neighboring street.

From reading other reviews it seems there's a wide range of experiences but ours was certainly good enough to stay here again. We slept in one of the self catering rooms in what I took to be a stable conversion but we had B&B. The room was a decent size and clean but I found the decor a bit dull...

A single night at Toghill House didn't give me the chance to walk around the area, sadly - but it was very scenic from the Farm. A warm welcome, cosy and comfortable bedroom and a lovely bathroom made for a great stay. A pleasant breakfast rounded it off well. Will return...
