The place is tired and unkempt. We had to change our first room as it was dirty. We got the last one as our second choice and it was just better, so we went and bought cleaning products so we could at least use the crockery and cutlery. We had to stay one night as everywhere else was booked in Honfleur. We left a day early and when I gave the key back the receptionist didn't even ask why. Breakfast was pitiful and people waiting for the buffet to be supplied. We didn't even bother and pleased that we found somewhere else to go.
Rented a room via Expedia. The pictures on Expedia must have been taken a decade ago, as the furniture was stained and tattered when we arrived. Hotel ... well, motel really ... was under-staffed (especially at breakfast) and poorly maintained. My shoes were sticking to the floor in their breakfast room. Our rooms also were not very clean. We had to sweep our own room when we arrived. The h/motel is located in a lovely town, but I would rather have paid more to stay in Honfleur. We paid 100 Euros per night, but feel that this was very overly priced for this accomodation. Do not pay extra for the breakfast - there is a patiserrie a few minutes drive which sells lovely pastries! Buy from there instead!
We stayed here out of desperation for one night during the FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament because closer hotels to Le Havre had already been booked. Nice people at front desk. Unfortunately that’s the highlight. A few comments: -The hotel is a bit hidden when arriving on the road from Honfleur -Room smelled of smoke (though room said no smoking) -After dark, there is no lighting and you need a flashlight or a cell phone light to find your room -Linens and blankets were left on the bed but the bed was not made -Table tops were dusty -Reception desk has limited hours— does not open until 8 am -Difficult public transportation and limited taxis, especially during evening/early morning (town also does not have Uber). Ideally need your own car to get back and forth. Overall, it’s bare bones and sparse. It’s better than sleeping outdoors under the stars but not a place that I would recommend to stay for multiple nights. …
We stayed here because it was the best option for a family of five. Very basic accommodation fairly clean but could do with a tidy up especially bathrooms. Seperate toilet with no sink in but had room for one. Shower was poor and needed at least a good clean with descaling spray. The floor looked dirty but was just worn out. The beds were OK although the mattress on the sofa bed was stained. No kettle which was a shame and no soap at all so good job we had our own. The windows were actually doors mostly and as such were fine when awake but at nightime with no air con and not feeling safe with the doors open we were very hot. The pool was fine seemed clean and a good size again could of done with a bit of tlc the fence was busted etc. Overall this place suited us size wise it's hard to find a few days accommodation for 2 adults 3 kids. However, I would struggle to recommend it and I certainly wouldn't choose to stay again. …
Rooms were OK (rather a bit dull), absolutely basic breakfast. The area is big with a swimming pool and a big free parking zone. Looks a bit quiet and secluded during night time. Don't expect too much.
