Quiet B&B located only 1 km from the centre of Honfleur. Vic and Sue are very welcoming, they give accurate info and tips about Honfleur. The garden is a beautiful place to walk around. The room was clean and comfortable and had a private bathroom. Breakfast was nice too, all kinds of fresh bread, jams, fruit, tea, coffee, more than enough for us. Vic and Sue were great hosts, they enjoy talking to their guests, but they also give them the freedom to talk and be on their own. We would come back here, if we would be in the neighboorhood!

We stayed 7/8/9 July. The hospitality of Sue and Vic is matched by their efficiency and energy. Taking us a night earlier was done effortlessly and Vic piloted us in via the phone and even stood out in the middle of the road to finally guide us home. The accomodation is lovely, fresh and clean. The swinging bench in our own private terrace was a bonus! Garden lovers will wonder at the extraordinary 2 acre garden created by Sue and Vic. We had a great weekend in Honfleur perfectly set up by staying in La Maison de Lavande John & June Green

This is a great B&B within walking distance of Honfleur. It is about 1km and an easy walk downhill. Walking back up is a bit more of a struggle but still not too bad. The owners, Sue and Vic, also told us where the free parking places in Honfleur were in case we wanted to drive down. We spent 3 nights in the downstairs room and it was very clean and a reasonable size. It also had a lovely outdoor area that would be great to sit in and enjoy a drink. Unfortunately there was too much rain whilst we were there for us to really take advantage of this. There is free parking and free wifi. The thing that really sets this B&B apart are Sue and Vic. They gave us good recommendations for restaurants as well as good information about the nearby WWII sites which made our decisions on which sites to visit much easier. However, they went way beyond this and we really enjoyed the chats over breakfast. It was great to have some of our questions about the French culture explained. We arrived at La Maison de Lavande as guests but felt that we left as friends.

We loved this place-Sue and Vic are so friendly and helpful. One of our favorite places we have stayed in France so far- and we've been here for months. We just loved talking with them about their journeys and sharing ours. Don't hesitate to book with them as you won't be disappointed.

My partner and I stayed here for four nights commencing August 12th 2015. We had a great ground floor room, with a spacious en suite and we also had our own garden terrace, perfect to enjoy an aperitif in before a leisurely stroll down into the town of Honfleur. Sue and Vic were our fantastic hosts. They are friendly, helpful and prepare an appetising breakfast to set you up for the day. Highly recommended accommodation in a great location.
